Life with the Hinds'

Pawnee Prairie Days was this weekend.  The kids all had a fun time at the carnival riding rides and dancing to the bands! Here they are breaking it down on their own personal stage! This one of Kalee is awesome! This one of Peyton cracks me up...I think I may have a picture of Aunt Tara doing the same move...I'll have to look!! Shake it!! They loved these spinner things...which was fine until another kid puked on them and it smelled over there! Adam and Davis Peyton, Ava and Mae Kalee stayed on this ride for 20 minutes straight.  There wasn't a line, so she just kept riding.  She would change vehicles every now and then, but preferred the motorbike.  Daddy's girl? Kalee and Ava went on the Giant Slide all by themselves!!  SO BRAVE!! This was her facial expression the whole time.  She smiled at the very bottom...said she liked it! Peyton and Adam on the 4 wheeler. Nothing like pure spun sugar at 9:30 at night... Again with the dancing on their stage...Dragg...

It's my anniversary! 6 Years ago, Matt and I stood in Mom and Dad's back yard and said "I DO!"  It seems like just yesterday.  I remember waking up at 5 am to a thunderstorm, going and getting in bed with Kate and crying that everything was ruined because it was raining.  She (very sympathetically) said something like "it will be fine...why are you waking me up?  Go back to sleep!"  (at least that's how I remember it!)  It was one of the greatest days of my life!  Mom and Dad did an amazing job making the house and yard perfect for our outdoor wedding and reception. Some of my favorite memories (not necassarily all good!) the morning thunderstorm Matt's Harley breaking down on the highway on his last bachelor's ride...a few hours before the ceremony! Debbie returning Tara's bridesmaid shoes so she didn't have any to wear Debbie driving to St. Louis to buy new shoes Mom freaking out more than me about the rain Me having a nervo...

Peyton graduated form Preschool last Wednesday!!  They had a short graduation program and it was adorable!!  They all walked out to Pomp and Circumstance...then sang a few songs and got their diplomas.  When they got their diplomas they were asked what they wanted to be when they grew up.  Peyton said "A Cowgirl!"  Matt and I say sounds good to us...Go Pokes...OSU!! I am so proud of how well she did in her program.  She has come so far from the first day of Preschool.  The day I will NEVER forget with her clinging to me and sobbing "Don't leave me here!"  What a horrible morning!
