Life with the Hinds'

I am sure all of my followers (if I have any left) are wondering what is going on in my exciting life! I have not been a good blogger. It is nice out, so we are outside...not good for blogging! But now that I have my iPhone, I can blog any time! So here we go.. We had a swim party at our house this weekend for the kids...well, for the adults too, I guess! It was fun. I had a good time watching the kids swim and play, and eating Kate's coconut cake! Yummy, it is so good! Lily came decked out in her flip flops and super cute swim suit. Adam and Ava came in their little swim suits...they are all so cute! Adam is a swimming fool. He is NOT afraid of being under water and likes to go under a lot. Peyton and Kalee both also love being in the pool. Kalee swims in her life jacket and wiggles her whole body, it is so funny. I like our fake pool, but am annoyed that it never is clear. I don't know if we need to buy a filter that will actually work or what! Matt is too busy to figure it o...

We had a great vacation in Gulf Shores, AL. Our house was right on the beach, you just walked off the porch and over the dunes and into the water. Wonderful! I love the ocean. It was so pretty. We saw dolphins a couple mornings. Luckily, they weren't around while we were swimming. I would not have liked that! The girls had a blast playing in the sand and water. Peyton was fearless in the waves. She loved for Tara Jo and her brand new best friend and favorite Uncle (sorry Goo) to hold her hands and jump her over the waves. Kalee loved the water the first day when it was calm, but then wasn't too sure about it the rest of the time. The waves were a little bigger the rest of the week. I finally made her come out with me and she got in her little boat and floated up and down and had fun with that. Well, we are headed to Girard to spend the night then off to Alabama tomorrow!! We will be on the beach by Saturday afternoon! YIPPEEE!!!! I'll tell you all about it in a week and 3 days!! Think of me sitting by the waves! hehe!

I just went to the chiropractor and I must say again that I love it there. I always feel so good after going! LOVE IT!! We are getting ready for vacation here. I have the girls all packed. Now I just have to get myself packed. We are spending the night in Girard tomorrow so that we can all get an early start on the driving Friday morning. Should be a fun day in the car. I have sticker books, wipe off boards, fruit snacks, and a new movie for each girl. Hopefully that will keep them busy!! They are actually very good riders...always have been, so I am not too worried. Usually if they have a movie to watch, they are happy. We are planning on going most of the way of Friday, then spending the night in a hotel and finishing the drive Saturday. Matt, Ty and Goo are coming Saturday and driving straight through. Matt and Ty are both working Friday, and Goober is visiting his lady, so they can't leave Friday. Matt and Tyler have similar road trip philosophies, so they will do...

Kalee's party went well Saturday. We had a beautiful day and all had fun visiting and playing. I was even conned into the swimming pool by the kids. Good thing it's only up to my thighs!! (PERFECT for the kids...Peyton and Adam could both touch and were going crazy!!) Her Trademark Smile!! Eating her cupcake! Demonstating her new kick board. She kicked her feet and everything!
