Home, an iPhone, and Mexico!!

We had a great vacation in Gulf Shores, AL. Our house was right on the beach, you just walked off the porch and over the dunes and into the water. Wonderful! I love the ocean. It was so pretty. We saw dolphins a couple mornings. Luckily, they weren't around while we were swimming. I would not have liked that! The girls had a blast playing in the sand and water. Peyton was fearless in the waves. She loved for Tara Jo and her brand new best friend and favorite Uncle (sorry Goo) to hold her hands and jump her over the waves. Kalee loved the water the first day when it was calm, but then wasn't too sure about it the rest of the time. The waves were a little bigger the rest of the week. I finally made her come out with me and she got in her little boat and floated up and down and had fun with that. The boys all did their skurf boarding...no injuries this time, other than some sand rash from falling! (when we went to Hilton Head, Matt hurt his ankle and couldn't walk)

We went to a adventure park place one morning and sweated our asses off. It was nice at the beach and unbearable everywhere else! The girls rode some rides and went go-karting with Matt and Tara. They had fun...at least I think they did. Kalee had a look of terror on her face every time she came around the track with Matt. But she didn't cry or anything. Peyton liked it so much, we let her go another time. We also played mini golf. It was so hot that the girls lost interest pretty quick. So I found them a hole that was in a tunnel and we stayed there and played while the other guys played their rounds.

I really think that the highlight of the vacation for the girls was having Molly Jo around. They held her, helped bathe her, and played with her as much as they were allowed! She is such a good babe!!

A good time was had by all, but I am glad to be home! We missed Harley! We got home and cleaned out the van...sand everywhere! It was quickly back to reality with a yard that needed mowed, a pool that was completely green, a fridge that was empty and unpacking and laundry!

Matt and I celebrated our 5th anniversary while we were on vacation. I got an iPhone!!!! It is so awesome!! I have turned into a junky! There are just so many neat thing you can do with it! LOVE IT!! Ty got one too, so Matt bought his iPod, so Matt is a bit of a junky now too! I think he will probably get an iPhone once his phone is ready for upgrading. Until then, he took my old phone...it was pink, so he painted it black. It will do for a few months!!

Cross Canadian is coming to the Sangamon County Fair tomorrow!!! I can't wait! I love them! If you are looking for a good concert, they start at 8! All the cool people will be there (me, Matt, Kate, Tara, Tyler, Goober...)

We have another trip to be looking forward to now. Katie has decided to get married in Mexico after all, so now we will be going there in February!! So exciting. We will be going to Cancun. I am very excited!!! Matt says he will be wearing a speedo to her beach wedding, so he has started working out a little harder. The scary thing is that I think he may be serious. I am worried...
