Life with the Hinds'

Matt sent the girls to Gma and Gpa's house Friday night so her could take me out to dinner for my birthday. Good thing since I was so upset by his lack of enthusiasm for my birthday Wednesday. We tried to go to Osaka, I really wanted to have hibachi. Guess the place is very popular and is pretty much a reservations required type of restaurant. We sat for 45 minutes waiting for a table. Then I went up and asked the rude, unhelpful hostess how much longer it was going to be. She looked at me and said, "um, ya, it's going to be awhile." We left. Nothing like Magic Kitchen. Followed by a trip to Menards and Culvers for ice cream. I went to another tile place Saturday. I have found what I want to for the laundry, mud room, and girls bathrooms. Still not sure on the master bath and shower. Also ran errands...still had some Christmas presents to exchange. I also spent an hour in Hobby Lobby. I love Hobby Lobby! It makes me happy. I would post a picture...but instead will describe to you what Kalee is wearing today. Since I haven't figured out why Photobucket won't let me post more than one album at a time. Last night Kalee picked out a brand new outfit. Santa gave it to her. She hasn't worn it. It matches. Then this morning came. She wasn't feeling it. So instead she has on a pink dress. Short sleeves. Ruffles from the waist to the hem. Flower accent. And snow pants. They are blue. She likes them because they are lined with fleece and really soft on her legs. They are also about 4 inches too long. Purple socks. One yellow croc. One green croc. But "the crocs match because they both have Minnie Mouse Jibbitz on them." She is quite the fashion statement. Must be taking lessons from Peyton (who did actually match and look nice today in HER new Santa outfit...out of the ordinary for her lately). Glad Kalee doesn't have school on Fridays!! At least she let me fix...

I have a headache. I am easily annoyed. The girls keep fighting. If I hear "you're not my best friend" one more time, I may scream. I want nap time to be here. Or Spring so these kids can go outside and run around the house 10 times. At least Lily is happy. She is singing in her sweet little voice...Patty Cake, Patty Cake. I'm ready for the weekend. On a completely different note... Today is the 10th anniversary of the OSU Basketball Team plane crash in Colorado. 10 men died in that plane crash. It's something I will never forget. Remember the 10.

I'm eating ice cream for breakfast. It has birthday fruit on it too, so it's healthy. I didn't throw up this morning. It's a birthday miracle! I am fixing my hair. Not something I take the time to do on a regular basis these days. I'm 29! Again... I have to take my Glucose test at the Dr today. Good thing I like orange soda. This means I also get to hear Baby Hinds' heartbeat. Happy Birthday to me from my third child. There were no fits thrown this morning by my first two children. Happy Birthday to me from my favorite two girls! Ava and Adam got me a card. It was sweet! Facebook makes me feel super popular. It's a great pick me up on your birthday. Now if my birthday wishes come true... Matt will shave his mustache and get a haircut before coming home tonight (you are suggesting this to him right Tara Jo?!). I had a rough week last week, so not much blogging going on. (sorry Megan) Baby Hinds #3 continues to hate me and make life slightly difficult. OK, more like miserable. I ended up at the hospital Wednesday night after spending Tuesday night and all day Wednesday throwing up. Mom took me to the ER (of course, Matt was at the firehouse). They immediately put me in a wheelchair and took me up to a room in Mommy/Baby. Kind of freaked me out. I'm 24 weeks, so the ER won't see anyone after 20 weeks. Wish they would have told me that before loading me up and scaring me! So after another IV, Fluids and my miracle zofran, Mom got to take me home. I'm finding it hard to bounce back after these episodes and am still exhausted. I feel like the house is at a stand still. It's not as gratifying to look next door now that it is all closed in and I can't see daily progress. The roof is still not finished...kind of hard to roof when there's snow on it! Siding will...

I am hanging out with Mae today. She would rather hang out with the kids, and always asks if it's time to go get the girls now! She broke my heart Monday (not really, it was more funny...) She told me, "I like my Grandma Bonnie better than you!" I said, "That's OK, you should like her better than me!  But do you like me a little bit?" She answered with a firm "NO!" Guess I need to feed her more Cheetos, that always makes her happy! I didn't sleep well last night. So I didn't want to get up this morning. I kept waiting for that school reach phone call saying school was cancelled. I don't really want it to be cancelled, I would rather have the kids in school and out of school on time, but I was being selfish...just needed a few more minutes to snooze. Megan told me last night that I am not keeping up the Blog lately. I will do better. I guess people do read it. Anyway... This weekend we got the stairs put up in the house!! They are better than I imagined! I am so in love with them! I walked down them. Much easier than tramping through the mud and snow to get to the basement! So now more sanding and refinishing, then they will really be amazing! Well, tried to post some pictures. I have used up all free space given to me for pictures. I am going to try to add them using Shutterfly. Sorry if that's annoying, but that's all I can figure out at this point (without paying for space to post pictures). If anyone has another idea for posting pictures, let me know!
