Today is Breck's 4th Birthday. We are having a Toy Story Party. I feel like I should have invited Molly Jo. The kids are all very excited! I am feeling stressed again. I am getting everything scheduled based upon a drywaller telling me, "we should be done by next Tuesday." They better be. I am ready to paint. I have flooring coming. The cabinets will be here in 2 weeks. The appliances in 3 weeks. Plumbing fixtures next week. The Baby in 5 weeks... AAHHHH! There is not much else to report these days. I feel boring... Not much has been happening. I bought diapers, wipes, baby soap and lotion, a monitor. I felt the need to feel slightly prepared for the baby...since I am not at all! I felt out of practice in the baby aisle. It's sort of depressing to buy diapers again. But also exciting. Well, I better get this birthday party started. Hamburger Helper and cupcakes...I am a gourmet chef.

It's snowing?! I was in flip flops yesterday. I just got rid of the sinus infection. This weather is killing me!! Kalee is in her jammies today...it's her 100th day of school and they are having a pajama party. Can you guess which ones she wore? Yes, Minnie Mouse. She was all set to wear a dress, short sleeve jammie, but given the before mentioned SNOW, I vetoed. You can't go wrong with Minnie. Peyton wore a skirt and socks that aren't really knee socks pulled up to her shins because she calls them knee socks. That girl and her fashion sense! It's Thursday...I don't like Thursdays. I hope it will go by quickly! I got home last night and our house trash was all over the field and creek across the street. Insulation bags...everywhere. Gale force winds... Black walnut trees with those horrid thorns... Mud... Good times as I walked around picking it all up. Well, mostly all of it, I couldn't get to a few of them. Plus, the wind tore a sid...

I love flip flop weather. Especially since I don't have to tie any shoes... Kalee playing in the sand box. Wishing it was the beach in Alabama! Swinging with Mae! I'm missing Peyton during the day...school is ruining my Peyton picture taking time! Matt went back to the firehouse today. He had to shave! Hooray!!!! Kalee was as excited as me! She told him he looked like her and Goober now with no mustache. HA! Doesn't he look young?! I love it...LOVE IT!! He says he's growing it back...he doesn't want to look like a 3 year old girl! I told him she's almost 4!!

We have a ceiling... It makes the house seem bigger. I thought it would be the opposite! The drywallers say they will be finished by next week. Fingers crossed... Matt worked hard yesterday in the awesome weather... So now we have some siding. Stupid red metal roof. We need more good, sunny days!! I am going to go to town tonight and order our wood floors and appliances. The floors are on sale until tomorrow, so if I can save 50 cents a square foot, I am all about it. I'm trying very hard to get everything lined up and ready so we aren't waiting on anything once drywall is finished! I may even go get paint this weekend...I have a coupon to Sherwin Williams that is better than our farm bureau discount. So again, if I can save a little money... I have almost all my colors picked out, so I had just as well go ahead and get it. Things are coming together...only 6 weeks until Delivery Day!

It's warm enough for flip flops in my book. This prego didn't have to tie her shoes this morning!!! It's St. Patrick's Day. We had our annual scavenger hunt this morning. Those sneaky leprechauns came and hid treasure. The girls found it and couldn't be more excited. The girls came running into Mandy's house full of scavenger hunt stories. The leprechauns didn't come to Mandy's house. Adam and Ava are not thrilled. They will come during naptime, I bet, and be ready for Adam when he gets home from school and Ava when she wakes up...but I think they will have to wait for mom to come home too. Kalee got to school and told Mrs. Cooper the leprechauns came to her house. Mrs. Cooper told Kalee she suspects they were in the classroom. The water table was messed up and some of the toys were out of place. Plus, there were shamrocks on a table. Kalee took this all in very seriously. She stood there for awhile thinking about it, then turned to me ...

So I think we'll go to Krekels for lunch. It's just me, Kalee, Ava and Kinze, so the walk should not be stressful. It's super fabulously sunny and warmer outside, so it will be good to get outside! Plus, I don't want bologna or pizza rolls which were my two lunch choices for the day. I actually slept last night. Was jerked awake by the alarm this morning. That never happens anymore! I am usually awake cursing because I am laying there with an hour more that I could be sleeping and I can't sleep. I have a doctors appointment this afternoon. Going every two weeks now. I hope she can tell me that we are scheduled for sure May 2nd and what time we have to be there, etc. I am still trying to decide what to do with the girls that day. Tara Jo says she will take care of them. I just can't decide if they need to miss the whole day of school, or if I should have them at least go until 10:30 when Kalee is done, then they can come to the hospital. But then...

Matt and Tyler leave for Florida Friday. Which means... THE MUSTACHE WILL BE GOING AWAY IN TWO WEEKS!!!! Can you say excited?! THANK GOD!! It is currently worse than even since yesterday at work he was told to trim it as per fire department dress code! So instead of trimming, he curled it even more than it usually is. So Gay. I will be one happy girl on the day it is shaved. One happy, happy, happy girl!!

Right now... Matt is at work...the second job. Wiring with Premiere. He has been working there all week. Not much he can do at the Homestead, so I think he's happy to be back at a second job that pays. Peyton is at school. They are celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday this week. They had rhyming foods Tuesday for snack time. She brought Mott's for Tots juice boxes. She said they had ritz bits and double bubble. I don't know what else. Yesterday they wore silly socks so they could get comfy in their silly socks and read. I had to laugh...the girl has silly socks daily. They never match her outfits. She decided to wear pink and blue ones with snow flakes...inside out. Her outfit was purple. Tomorrow is silly clothes day. Backwards, inside out, non matching. Guess I'll let her pick out whatever she wants and that should work for silly. Kalee is napping. She's cuddled up with Mousy a...

We had some cleaning to do at the Homestead this weekend. We...HA! I... So we got ready and went on over. Kalee got her bear ready to go too... Spent quality time with the Shop Vac. Vacuumed out the exterior walls before insulation starts on Wednesday. The bedrooms have been claimed... Baby Peyton Mae Kalee Jo Standing in their doorways. Picking out tile for my shower. UGH!! But think I finally have come to a decision. This is Travertine. I think it's pretty. I really like the floor pattern. Need to pick out an accent tile to go in a band around the shower and to use as a backsplash for the vanity area. One more trip to the tile shop... Empty basements are good for a lot of things. Sidewalk chalk! Bike riding!! Matt couldn't wait for his first fire! Had to start it up. Looks really safe doesn't it? Wires hanging out the bottom... Red Roof Inn All the metal is on. Need some rivets, etc to be finished. (acting like I know what that means...) They should be ther...
