Good Things

It's warm enough for flip flops in my book.
This prego didn't have to tie her shoes this morning!!!

It's St. Patrick's Day.
We had our annual scavenger hunt this morning.
Those sneaky leprechauns came and hid treasure.
The girls found it and couldn't be more excited.

The girls came running into Mandy's house full of scavenger hunt stories.
The leprechauns didn't come to Mandy's house.
Adam and Ava are not thrilled.
They will come during naptime, I bet, and be ready for Adam when he gets home from school and Ava when she wakes up...but I think they will have to wait for mom to come home too.

Kalee got to school and told Mrs. Cooper the leprechauns came to her house.
Mrs. Cooper told Kalee she suspects they were in the classroom.
The water table was messed up and some of the toys were out of place.
Plus, there were shamrocks on a table.
Kalee took this all in very seriously.
She stood there for awhile thinking about it, then turned to me and said, "I need to look at the water table!"
So we went over and she didn't find anything out of the ordinary.
I told her I thought Mrs. Cooper had probably fixed it.
More serious thinking...
Let's check out the shamrocks...
They were glittery and sitting on the table.
Those leprechauns are sneaky. 
They must have been here.
Maybe they will come back!!

Kalee's class is going to Peyton's Kindergarten class today to sing a leprechaun song and read a rhyming book.
Both girls are excited that they will see each other at school.
Peyton told us she is keeping it a secret from her friends that Kalee is coming!!

The sun makes me happy.
Very Happy.

My C-section is scheduled at Memorial!!
The nurse will call me today to tell me what time it will be.
She thought probably 9 or 10 in the morning.
I wish it was earlier, but will take what I can get...I just don't want to have to wait another day or two!!

    How exciting to have the date scheduled! I've also been enjoying the warm weather...finally! I am SO over the cold and wintery crap. It is time for flip flops and short sleeves!

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. I took some drugs and have been laying on a heating pad, so it is feeling a little better. I need to run, but just don't know if that will happen tonight. This puts a cramp in my training! Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! There may be a problem though...I think it is at the same time that DWTS is going to be on. Speaking of DWTS...di...

Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
