My Weekend and More

Matt sent the girls to Gma and Gpa's house Friday night so her could take me out to dinner for my birthday.
Good thing since I was so upset by his lack of enthusiasm for my birthday Wednesday.
We tried to go to Osaka, I really wanted to have hibachi.
Guess the place is very popular and is pretty much a reservations required type of restaurant.
We sat for 45 minutes waiting for a table.
Then I went up and asked the rude, unhelpful hostess how much longer it was going to be.
She looked at me and said, "um, ya, it's going to be awhile."
We left.
Nothing like Magic Kitchen.
Followed by a trip to Menards and Culvers for ice cream.

I went to another tile place Saturday.
I have found what I want to for the laundry, mud room, and girls bathrooms.
Still not sure on the master bath and shower.

Also ran errands...still had some Christmas presents to exchange.
I also spent an hour in Hobby Lobby.
I love Hobby Lobby!
It makes me happy.

We worked on Valentines and Peyton's Half Birthday stuff Sunday.
She took brownies that we wrapped up to look like presents.
She was happy until this morning when another screaming fit hit.
I am not letting her do anything on the weekends ever again (which I have said before, but seriously, she does better when we just stay home).
She will stay home and nap and be on her regular schedule every day.
I am so tired of fighting with her every day.
She slammed Kalee's hand in the closet, threw a fit over the clothes that she picked out the night before, screamed about her tooth brush...
I can't handle it anymore.
It makes me feel horrible, and is a horrid start to the day/week, every day.

Anyway...
I'm tired of hearing about the weather, but am just going to say that I really hope it is not as bad as they are predicting.
I want my house done and it's hard to work on it if the weather is bad and Matt is stuck in Decatur.
I do have functioning garage doors after this weekend.
And electricity.
And a good start to my plumbing.
Septic is on standby until weather clears.
Need runs put in for Geothermal system.
HVAC needs finished up.
Then insulation and start drywall!!
I feel like drywall will be the turning point to the finish line.
So I am anxious to get it finished!
