Alabama here we come!

I just went to the chiropractor and I must say again that I love it there. I always feel so good after going! LOVE IT!!

We are getting ready for vacation here. I have the girls all packed. Now I just have to get myself packed. We are spending the night in Girard tomorrow so that we can all get an early start on the driving Friday morning. Should be a fun day in the car. I have sticker books, wipe off boards, fruit snacks, and a new movie for each girl. Hopefully that will keep them busy!! They are actually very good riders...always have been, so I am not too worried. Usually if they have a movie to watch, they are happy. We are planning on going most of the way of Friday, then spending the night in a hotel and finishing the drive Saturday. Matt, Ty and Goo are coming Saturday and driving straight through. Matt and Ty are both working Friday, and Goober is visiting his lady, so they can't leave Friday. Matt and Tyler have similar road trip philosophies, so they will do just fine together! Their philosophy is something like we don't stop unless you need gas, and at that point and that point only, you can go into somewhere and go to the bathroom or get food, but you are only allowed food if it is portable. There is no stopping and resting!! You can rest in the car while it's moving! And you might want to bring an extra moose cup just in case you have to pee along the way. So anyway, we will be on the beach for a week...be jealous, be very jealous!!

The girls and I spent a few hours in the pool yesterday. So nice! Kalee is fearless...I think she will learn to swim before Peyton! She has her little life jacket and is pulling her legs up so she can float. She just needs to learn to keep her mouth closed! Peyton is a little nervous. She will get better as time passes. She just doesn't get that her life jacket will hold her up. She is afraid she will sink. I help her so she was stable and she was kicking those legs and flapping her arms. She is trying to swim!

I am getting a hair cut today. (Alyssa at the Fringe...awesome!) Just a trim before we leave. Actually, this will probably be my last hair cut for awhile...I want to grow it out for Katie's wedding. She set the date: May 29, 2010. It will be outside in the formal gardens at OSU (where Matt proposed to me...how romantic!!) The reception will be inside at the Alumni Center on campus...one of the two places on campus you can drink! Don't worry, Katie would not have a dry wedding! So outside in Oklahoma at the beginning of summer=tricky weather situation. Could be perfect, could be steamy! So an up do is a definite yes for this girl! Keep these curls under wraps!

Kalee got a GeoTrax set for her birthday. (I am totally patting myself on the back for this present...she LOVES it! She has played with it every day since she got it. It's been a long time since a toy has kept their attention like this one!!) She got a train, plane, tractor and firetruck to go with it. She tells me that the farmer is Uncle Steve, one of the firemen is Daddy, and the girl that came with is is usually Momma, but sometimes Peyton. She can't decide who the other people are. I just love that she says Steve is the farmer and Daddy is the firefighter. It makes me smile! She also got Mickey Mouse sheets and a blanket from A. Stacey. I put them on her bed last night and she was very excited about it!!
