I know you are all wondering...

The poop saga continues...I know you are all wondering how Kalee is doing, and I am happy to report that after two days of Dan Active, Kalee is enjoying a firmer poo. We haven't had a blow out in two days! Hooray! Although now that I have written that, I am sure she will have one within the next 30 minutes. Thanks Kari for the suggestion!!!

I don't have much to report here today. We are having a lazy day. The girls both woke up before me and I jumped awake at 8:30 wondering why they hadn't woken up yet. I ran out to check on them and they were sitting in the living room eating spin wheels and watching cartoons. Apparently Daddy has set them up before he left for work. I am feeling irresponsible since I didn't hear them and wake up. But I guess they were fine, so I won't worry about it too much. I did end up watching some of the Super Bowl. Mainly because there was nothing else on our 5 channels. I ran for an hour and a half and listened to my music and had it on the TV. I did turn it up to watch the half time show. I don't know that I am a fan of Bruce, but I wanted to hear it. It was funny when he slid into the camera.

We are going to go to the airport Wednesday to pick up Aunt Megan. We are pretty excited to get to see her. She hasn't been home since Kalee's birthday at the beginning of June. She will be in for a shock to see how much the kids have all changed! Especially Ava and Kalee! And of course I am sure she is dying to see Lily Bug. She has been a little angry at me since I keep calling her every time I get to see her or hold her. I doubt she will be very inclined to share her the week she is home. I see her being very much of a baby hog.

Kalee has started saying Peyton. It is so cute. It sounds more like "panties" but I am pretty sure she is saying Peyton since she points to her when she says it. Though I guess she could be saying panties since Peyton seems to be very happy running around in her panties or less these days! Yesterday she was eating her lunch and the next thing I hear is Matt asking her where her clothes are. She is standing naked at the table. She told him she is just happier naked. I am honestly starting to get a little worried! Oh well. I guess it's not hurting anything. We did convince her to at least wear her panties! Kalee's other new thing is that when you ask her "who loves Momma or Daddy or Peyton or whoever?" She raised her hand and says, "ME!!" It's pretty cute! She is getting more and more words. Her favorite being, "NO!! UH, AH! NO!!"

We painted finger nails last night. It was the easiest finger nail cutting we've had with Peyton since she was 5 months old! She wanted her finger and toe nails painted, so I told her she had to have them cut first. She sat right down and didn't say a thing as we got them cut. It was fantastic!

Well, I guess I can ramble on about nothing for a long time, but I should probably do something constructive like lunch or figure out what's for supper.

Goober, thank you for the information. I am glad you are happy! I look forward to meeting her. I wonder if the girls need to come spend a day with Uncle Goo Goo? Hmmm...

  1. We used to bribe Grace with cutting her nails in order to paint them! Works like a charm!! I'm glad Peyton is a sucker for it too!! :)
