Painting dilemma solved!

Thank you everyone for the opinions on my decorating dilemma! I decided to do chocolate brown in the dining and living room and a light green color (sort of like the blog background) in the hallway and stairs. I started painting the brown today while the girls are napping. I LOVE IT!!! It is going to be SO MUCH BETTER than the Tiffany's box blue. I am probably going to keep all my black frames. We'll see how it all comes together. All the trim in our house is white, but we will see. I also found curtains at Lowe's...they are a perfect match to the red furniture and have a pretty paisleyish print in brown! So next paycheck, I am all over that! I think it will use the Tiffany Box blue and do something fun in Peyton's room. Maybe put some blocks of color on one wall or something. We'll see what happens!

We went to Mom and Dad's last night for dinner with Stacey. I made her a cake and Peyton and Kalee helped decorate it with sprinkles and sugar things. Peyton picked out Diego sugar things to put on it..."Stacey loves Diego! She will be so excited about this!" She passed up all things girls: Tinkerbell, pink party hats, pink letters all for Diego. Well, I think Stacey did love it.

Not much else is going on around here. Matt is being a firefighter today. We still have no glasses for Peyton Mae. I hope they come in early this coming week. I am in the mood to rearrange and plan on doing just that to Kalee's room. I am not happy with the placement of her big girl bed. So I'll try again! Plus, I think we can put it up off the floor onto the frame. That will make it look better. I think I hear a Kalee Jo right now, so I better go!

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place.
