A Little Too Sassy!
Happy St. Patty's Day!! The girls are wearing green. I told Peyton she had to so the leprechauns wouldn't get her. She thought that was funny!
Not much is going on here. Matt is getting ready to go to Florida. We went shopping for some essentials for him last night. Adult wipes, toothpaste, beef jerky, a magazine...you know, all the stuff you need when you are going to a shack in the water in the middle of nowhere, FL. Tara already bought the beer, so he should be set.
I have been noticing a strange burning smell when I drive the van lately. So I had him look at that last night. He thinks it is just some oil that may be left over from the (as he calls it) "Peyton helping Daddy change the oil incident." Or as I like to call it the "Matt screwed up changing my oil incident." Either way, he washed out the engine and said to watch it. He is leaving for a week, so other men in my life...be on standby. History has taught me that something will go wrong while he is gone. While he was fixing this, the girls were out back playing. They like to gt rocks and take them to the playhouse to use as food, drinks, etc. So Peyton was going back for more rocks and Matt told her that she had enough. She looked at him and said, "You just go fix the van. Don't worry about what I am doing." A little too sassy, I am thinking, but seriously, how do you not laugh at that?? I think it was Stan who said he never knew that disciplining your child would be so funny. He was right. It always takes us a few minutes to stop silently laughing before telling her that she is being a little too sassy!
Because of our shopping trip last night, I missed all of Dancing With the Stars but the last 3 couples. Then they said that the results show is tonight at 8. CRAP! My two favorite shows on at the same time. If only we had a DVR. Isn't that what it's called? We don't have that...or anything that is TV fancy. I guess I will be flipping back and forth for an hour!
I think we will go outside now. It's too nice to be inside!
