I feel boring.

There just really is not much going on with us the last few days. So I feel pretty boring. But I figured I needed to write something so people wouldn't worry!

I guess Goo hit a deer. That sucks. His Blazer is just bad luck I think...huh Debbie? Kalee is really missing Goo Goo these days. They are pretty good friends. The girls have this wooden birthday cake toy that you put candles on and decorate, then you can "cut" it and serve it. She and I were playing with it and she started singing "Birthday, Goo Goo!!" and was also dancing. So I guess we were celebrating Goo's birthday. She cut a piece of cake for him and when I asked if it was for me, she got mad at me when I picked it up. She screamed NO GOO!! So I wasn't allowed to even touch his birthday cake piece. She also asked for him the whole weekend we were in Girard for Tara's shower.

Kalee has been a little monster the past week. She doesn't feel good I guess. Her nose is gross, and she is tired of having it wiped. But I am tired of watching her eat snot. YUCK! She had definitely turned into a screamer. She's not afraid to let you know she is unhappy. It's safe to say she has a temper. Wonder who she gets that from?? Sadly, probably me.

Another Kalee thing. She has finally started saying her name. It is so cute. Ka-ee is what is sounds like. So cute.

Peyton went off to school this morning. She came into my room at 6:30 to wake me up. She got right by my head and yelled GET UP MOMMA!!! I HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL TODAY!!! I am glad that she is so happy to go these days, but desperately wish she would wait until at least 7:00 to come in and yell at me. She also opened my curtains and shades to prove to me that the sun was up and it was time to get ready. Rude awakening! I forget if I wrote that she didn't get into the Burg's preschool next year. We got called by the teacher and she said they just can't find any reason to justify letting her into the needs based program. I have been having mixed feelings about the preschool thing all along, so I honestly am kind of relieved that she will get to stay at OLOL next year. She loves her friends and teachers, it's familiar. So we'll go with it. As a 4 year old, she goes Monday through Wednesday mornings. The next year will be the true challenge! Peyton is Kindergarten and Kalee starting Preschool. Oh, I can't even think about it!

Matt is back to the firehouse today after his almost 2 week vacation. He had to shave this morning. He hasn't shaved the whole time he's been off, so had a little beard going. I might miss it a little. But you can't have facial hair as a fireman, except for a mustache, and I hate him with a mustache, he looks gay. I actually didn't see him this morning, so let's all hope that he did truly shave it all and didn't leave a mustache!!

Cross Canadian Ragweed is coming to the Sangamon County Fair June 19th!!! Good Times! They are one of our favorite bands that we started listening to while we were at OSU. It's so awesome that they come close to us so we can hear them play!!

Our little Cross Canadian Fans!!

  2. mustaches are gay! Zach and his friends all had a contest to grow theirs out and I harassed him the entire time! Even though nothing major is going on in your life right now, I'd say it's sounds pretty full of life!
