Lazy

We are having a lazy day here today. I plan on staying in my pajamas as long as possible, and the girls probably will too! We went to Mandy's house yesterday and I painted her bedroom ceilings and one closet. My arms and neck are sore today from looking up! I forgot how much painting ceilings sucks! I think they all need another coat, but that will have to wait for another day! Stacey came with us and pulled up two layers of carpet in the kitchen. YUCK! There was a layer of linoleum under that, plus a sub floor, then another layer of linoleum. JD came over later and helped Mandy pry up all of that. Mandy was very happy! It's coming along slowly! The girls had fun playing on Kinze's swing set! Too bad Kinze wasn't there for them to play with.

We were sitting at Nan and Pop's house and Nan was telling Kalee that Pop missed out today. He was still at work. Kalee said "Pop?" and put her hands out like who knows?? Then she says, "Pop Stuck!" I asked her where he was stuck. She told us in the bathroom. Why is he stuck in the bathroom, Kalee? "Poop!" she said. It was pretty funny. Maybe you had to be there...

Matt has the day off tomorrow. Too bad I have a full day planned! I am going to lunch with my friend Debbie! I am pretty excited, I haven't seen her in a long time. Then I am going shopping for the Auxiliary. We give baskets of essentials to families who are out of their homes due to fire. So we need to stock up.

Trivia Night is in a week...the 18th. Anyone else getting a team? Let me know!

    Shelly--Your hair is adorable! I only saw the back of your head in one of the pics my mom took yesterday, You need to show us the front :) And of course the girls are too cute!!!

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
