Randomness

It's finally finished...I am moved back in to my bathroom! It only took about 6 months...the story of my life! Here are a few pics of my new light and shade. Yay! (OK, I know, they aren't the best pictures, but it's hard to get a good pic in a small space like my bathroom!!)
Now if I can just get Matt to get my curtain rod put up in the dining room! I'll feel like I have accomplished something. I continue to paint the downstairs trim and doors. Takes forever. I am on coat #3. Probably will take 4.

Peyton is cracking me up today. We went to the chiropractor and when we came home, she decided she needed to fox me also. So she signed me in at her desk, took me back to "room #4" and had me lay down. She then worked on me a good 15 minutes. She was being hilarious. She kept talking to me and telling me stories in her sincere voice. She was telling me about the wedding she just went to and how there was a party and how her daughter was there. I was there too, didn't I remember? Did I remember who I went with? I told her I was probably with Matt. She said NO! You weren't! You were with Ana's dad. (Whoever that is!) Then she did this fake laugh thing that she does where she chuckles and scrunches her face up and tilts her head to the side. It was like we were in a hair salon and getting all the juicy gossip, only the gossip was me with her friends dad at her wedding. Interesting!! She was also using all of her best Fancy Nancy words...discover, fantastic, ridiculous! So funny. Now she is watching Little Mermaid and is acting it out. Wow, I thought Kate was the drama queen in the family!! Peyton may be giving her a run for the money!!

Kalee is being very vocal these days. She has started saying Momma, ask you a question?? She gets this from Peyton who is always saying Can I ask you a question? I have something to ask you... She is also saying OH MY GOODNESS!! At all the right times. Something will happen and she'll throw her hands up, roll her eyes and say Oh my Goodness!

We are going to the Pawnee Fire Department meeting tonight as a family to thank them for helping Ava when she fell. I think Kate is making cake...maybe she will make two coconut cakes and we can have one after dinner. Mom is making lasagna...my most favorite mom meal ever! (be jealous Katie!)

Stacey and I leave on our canoe trip Friday. I am looking forward to it. We had a good time with her friends last year and I'm sure we will again. I hope it will be warm. I was looking at the weather in Rolla this weekend (where I think we may be going...I am actually not very sure where we are going!) and the trusty iPhone says it is only going to be in the upper 70's this weekend. Brrr! I am planning some awesome canoe trip food for us Stace, don't worry!

Tara Jo went back to work today. Molly Jo went to her new sitter, Sharon. I hope they both have good days! I'm going to miss having Tara available all the time.

Well, It's about nap time in the Hinds House, so I better finish this up. The girls will be napping and I will be running. Have to get in a workout so I can eat that lasagna tonight!

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! There may be a problem though...I think it is at the same time that DWTS is going to be on. Speaking of DWTS...di...

Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
