Labor Day and Preschool
Yesterday was the Labor Day parade in Decatur. The firemen always walk in it. We took the girls' fire truck and Peyton drove it the whole way. She had her friend Lindsey with her...her daddy works at Stations 3 with Matt. They had a good time! Kalee didn't want to ride the truck. She wanted in her stroller, actually, she was jumping up and down clapping yelling that she got to be in the stroller!!! Who knew strollers were more exciting than battery operated fire trucks?? The girls got a bunch of candy so they were pretty excited about that! Matt was just happy that the firetruck battery lasted the whole parade!!

Today was Peyton's first day of Preschool. She went right in and put her bag away, picked her drink for snack (chocolate milk) and found a puzzle to play with. There were no tears!! (even from me...are you proud?) That is so exciting! Kalee was upset when we had to leave. She said, "I stay with Peyton at school!" But she is happily home now playing with all the toys all by herself, so I guess she got over it. That is Peyton's new teacher in the first picture...Mrs. Richard. The aide, Mrs. Kupish, was there last year, so Peyton is happy that she knows her! Now I am just anxiously awaiting 11:00 so I can go pick her up and hear all about it! I told her we could go to McDonalds or Cracker Barrel for lunch...her two favorite places. She said she wanted to go to McDonalds!

So glad she (and you) had a good first day at school! She looks so old!!!
