The past week...
Another week has passed and I finally have time to blog again! We had a fun week last week. We went to the hot air balloon festival in Lincoln Friday. This is the third year we have gone. We go with the Bubba's...another Decatur firefighter and his family. They have 3 daughters and one son. One of their daughters is a month younger than Peyton, so they always have fun. We sit at Lincoln Christian College and watch he balloons fill and launch. They are so pretty! We had a minor issue after the festival. We got home and Kalee was missing her favorite Mousy. She was upset, "where's Mousy??" She had it when I put her in her seat at the festival, then one of the Bubbettes told her goodbye and closed the door. I guess he fell out when this happened. So we got home and couldn't find him. Matt ended up driving back to Lincoln even though he didn't want to. "It's just a stuffed Mouse..." I tried to explain to him that it is not just a mouse. It is her favorite toy. She loves him. Hasn't he ever read the Velveteen Rabbit? Stuffed animals can turn real... So he went and found Mousy sitting face down in the gutter where we had parked. When Kalee woke up in the morning the first thing she said was, "Look!!! Mousy!!!!" Matt got the good Daddy award that night!
The girls and I went to Pawnee Sunday to give Pop a hair cut. He was looking pretty shaggy. I told him I hoped he had been wearing a hat for the last week! I made Stacey work out with me. It's nice to work out with someone else. I am going to make her do it again tomorrow!
We went to the Cardinals game Tuesday with the girls and Stacey. Dad gave us tickets! We had such a good time. It was Kalee's first Cardinals game! The girls loved dancing and yelling CHARGE!! I am not sure if they even realized there was a game going on for about the first 2 innings! I can't wait to take them again! Thanks Pop!!

We are off to Girard tomorrow. We haven't been there for almost a month, there has been so much going on. So Grandma let me know she is missing the girls.
