Keep Your Fingers Crossed...

Well, last night was Mindy's wedding rehearsal. Peyton walked down the aisle the first time, but was not happy about it. About half way, she started frowning and scrunching her face up, then she burst into tears. The second time, she cried the whole way and stopped a quarter of the way down. So let's all keep our fingers crossed and send up a little prayer around 4:00 this afternoon that she is smiling and willing to walk down the aisle. (I am not holding my breath...) I felt bad for Kalee last night. She kept saying, I want to go with Peyton (down the aisle). But we told her she didn't have a white dress, so she wasn't going down the aisle. She gets to wear her fancy new brown and pink dress and shoes and sit with Grandma and Grandpa and Molly Jo! She thought that was OK. She also kept saying that she wanted to get her picture taken...so we will definitely be doing that today if it makes her happy!

We are getting ready now to go to the hair salon to see if she will let them do her hair. I don't really see this happening either, but am going to try. I actually wasn't even going to take her...I slept a total of 3 hours last night...and am not sure I am up to the fight.

I went to the doctor yesterday and have an infection in my throat. He gave me antibiotics. They better start working soon, as in 2 days ago soon.

Well, I need to go. We are already late. Surprise!

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place.
