Good Day

I feel like Peyton has had a bit of a break through at school. Mrs. Kupish pulled me aside this morning and told me that Peyton is really opening up in class now. She eats snack (she wasn't eating it for the longest time), she is interacting with the other kids, and she is talking! She said she even talks without being prompted to talk! I told her THANK GOODNESS!! She said yesterday Peyton was a little magpie. I said well, that is the Peyton we know! She never is quiet! So hopefully things will continue to go well and she will just get better as the day goes on.

We went to the circus this weekend. It was very fun. It's so neat to watch the kids and how excited they get! Kalee can't stop talking about the baby and mommy elephant. Peyton loved the girl who rode the swing under the motorcycle! The only downer was the huge python they had in the center ring to take souvenir pictures with. YUCK!! Pretty sure I did not get a picture. I just sat there sweating wishing it would go away and cringing at all those kids holding out their hands to touch and hold the nasty thing. EWE...makes my skin crawl!

We go to Playhouse Disney Live at the convention center this weekend. I am looking forward to it so much! I think they are going to LOVE it! Matt and I are also going to play trivia at the fireman's club in Springfield. It is apparently 80's trivia. Should be interesting!

My super great excitement is that Nan, Pop, Kate and Steve will be going to Mexico with me for Katie's wedding!!! Matt is not able to go since the Lieutenant test he has been waiting to take for the fire department got scheduled for while we are in Mexico. I was pretty disappointed, but am now excited since everyone else is going to be going with me! We will have a fabulous time!!
