Pictures From the Last Week

Friday night, Tara, Kate and I went out to dinner at Los Agaves. It was their anniversary, so they had half price drinks...notice the pina colada's and margaritas! They also had a mariachi band! They came to our table and serenaded us. Kate told them to play us something snappy! Mom and Dad also ate there that night...Their usual Friday night dinner!! Their anniversary was Saturday so Mom told them to play something for their anniversary!

After dinner we went to see New Moon!! Kate had got us tickets in advance...thank goodness since they were sold out all night long. We got there about half an hour before the show and they were lined up waiting to get in. So by the time we got in there, we had to sit in the very front row. It's not easy to watch a movie from the front row, let me tell you. Especially when you had some half price margaritas before...there were a few times when we all felt a little sick from the camera movement.

Saturday, Matt and I took the girls to see Playhouse Disney Live. They LOVED it! Kalee sat entranced the entire show. The only time she moved was to clap a few times and to ask me over and over where Daisy Duck was!! She was upset that she wasn't there! She LOVED, LOVED, LOVED seeing Mickey Mouse! Peyton liked the Little Einsteins the best. She really enjoyed the whole show. She was dancing and singing and clapping along. I am so glad we took them...thanks Tara Jo for the head's up about it!!! I was however, disgusted by the prices of their souvenirs! They had light up wand things that both the girls wanted...they were $20! Ridiculous! So I was glad I smuggled in my little candy treat for them and they quickly forgot about the other things!

Peyton had to wear her Strawberry Shortcake dress and a tiara.

Kalee brought Mickey Mouse, of course, and wore her Minnie ears on the way there. She decided to take them off before we went inside!

Matt and I played trivia at the Springfield Firefighters Club Saturday night with 6 other firemen. We sucked it up, getting LAST PLACE. It was an 80's theme. We were all born in 1980 or later! So we just didn't know much! I think our final score was 47 correct out of 110! Pathetic display from Team DFD!

  1. I can not begin to tell you how jealous that first picture makes me feel - in the restaurant with the gals pre-New Moon! Sigh! Would have given anything to be there with you.
