My life right now

Randomness for a Monday.

These are the lights that will go over my eating bar and my kitchen sink.
The white one.
I love them.
They make me happy.
Pottery Barn is my friend...especially on sale Pottery Barn!
They are being delivered as I type.

Today was Kalee's Me Day.
She got to be the leader.
She came home singing a song about a snake.
I am thinking about pulling her out of Preschool...

I bought new maternity pants yesterday.
Why, oh why can't maternity pants be comfortable and not fall down?
It is so completely annoying.
They fall down when I walk.
They pull your underwear down with them.
(TMI?? Sorry, this is my life right now.)
All I do all day is pull up my pants.
I think all pregnant women should be allowed to wear sweat pants for 9 months and not be looked down on.

My camera should ship this week.
Finally.
I'll believe it when I get that notification that it is on its way.
I want it badly.
Like now.
Now I say!!

I wish I was in Mexico again.
I want warmth.
I can't get warm lately.

I go to the doctor this afternoon.
Hopefully will get to hear the babies heartbeat.
I love that!
It makes me happy.

The Homestead...
Our windows have arrived.
They will go in after the roof is on...next week.
Trusses arrive tomorrow.
Roof goes on this weekend.
Exterior doors ordered!!
Siding samples gotten and have pretty much decided on colors for it and the roof.
The exterior will be looking good here pretty quickly!
Maybe Matt can get some of the dirt piles taken care of!

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. I took some drugs and have been laying on a heating pad, so it is feeling a little better. I need to run, but just don't know if that will happen tonight. This puts a cramp in my training! Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! There may be a problem though...I think it is at the same time that DWTS is going to be on. Speaking of DWTS...di...

Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
