Tuesday Thoughts
We are finally all well again.
Kalee was miserable last week.
Sick from Wednesday to Sunday.
NOT FUN
Ear infection, sinus infection and the flu...ouch!
She is still coughing, but on her last day of antibiotic and doing much better.
The school Christmas Concert is tonight.
I think this is something that most parents dread...
I am totally looking forward to it!
Can't wait to watch Peyton sing her Christmas songs on stage!
She won't tell me what she is singing.
Says it's a surprise.
The Homestead has a fireplace and one tub (sitting in the garage awaiting install!).
It's coming right along (I say that all the time.)
Our french doors for the dining room and walkout basement were ordered wrong.
They open in, not out like they should.
The dining room door has been installed and will have to be taken out.
Of course, it's my fault...why wasn't I there before they put the door in?
Oh well, I'm used to being blamed.
So they have to be taken back and redone to open the right way.
All of the windows are in though!
I have pictures, just not right now.
I am still working on figuring out my new camera.
I am in love with it.
I think it takes pretty awesome pictures.
The lenses and focus points are what I am trying to figure out right now
There are so many things you can do with it...my goal is to work on a different function every week.
Maybe in a few years, I will have it all figured out!
My Katie is having surgery today on her elbow.
She was in a bad ATV accident two years ago and severely messed up her shoulder.
All x-rays, scans, etc stopped at her elbow.
So she has been having pain there for awhile now and the surgeon decided that they probably overlooked her elbow when they were trying so hard to fix her shoulder.
So now they are going in and trying to fix the problems in hopes that her pain will diminish.
She has another long recovery ahead of her.
Peyton was invited to her first sleepover this Friday.
She is so excited.
I hope she is as excited about it when I drop her off as she is now!
I'll let you know how it goes!
