I finally got some pictures of Peyton before Dance Class. She LOVES dance and I couldn't be happier. Her favorite outfit is this purple one. Such a poser...Notice the cocked knee...HA! Maybe she likes the purple one so much because it matches her glasses!

A few things I am happy about this week...   Kalee started her new preschool class in the morning. She is happy there and continues to go to school with no problems at all. I deserve this after Peyton!   Peyton now goes to school with little to no problems...we still have our mornings where I wonder why it has to be such a struggle, but am happy with her progress! We have Parent Teacher conferences in a few weeks...her first REPORT CARD!!!   The house makes me very happy this week!! We have basement floors and walls. They are pretty (yes, I just described the concrete as pretty...). It would be the perfect skating rink, except for the sharp pieces of metal that are sticking out of the walls...guess before I buy the girls roller skates, we will have to have those broken off! Who am I kidding, I might just buy myself some too!!   We also just got lumber and floor trusses delivered this morning!! So Matt officially has no more free time. He is starting to build T...

They took most of the wall forms off Wednesday. So here are my basement walls! I'm pumped! Debbie and Kevin came out and looked. I think this is the first time they have been to the site. Matt hopes to rough in plumbing, etc this weekend. The trusses are ordered. I don't know how long they take to get. But we are moving right along! Not much else is going on. Keeping busy watching the kiddies during the week. Which leaves me completely drained by the end of the day!! Two children two years apart is one thing... 4-5 children all the same age...can be slightly frustrating! But we are having fun. Matt plays softball again tomorrow.  Third shift vs. First shift. I don't know if I will go yet.  It's the Pawnee PTO Carnival day and Peyton has free blowup playtime all day. I'm not sure she will think Daddy playing softball is more fun than that...even though Daddy is pretty amazing! Kalee is moving to the morning Preschool class. Randomness... We have power. I missed the meter on all zeroes. So here it is on 1. Pretty fancy for a bunch of metal boxes... Kalee is still enjoying Dance. This is one of her other leotards. He is just holding that hose thing walking along the top of the walls in his mud boots. I was so afraid he would slip and fall. Concrete!!! YAY!!! See what I mean about being perched up there? Those forms aren't a thick thing to stand on! See, they are up there...It's really neat to watch.  It's been two weeks, but the girls started dance class at Dance and Flip. They love it! Both go right in with smiles and have a fun time. Both love that Jess Ervin is their teacher. Both are in major love with their tap shoes! They do Ballet, Tap, and Gymnastics. There is also a big trampoline to bounce on that they are pretty excited about! I can't wait until recital time!!  (I'm embarrassed by these pictures, but they are the best I got of Peyton, so I am posting them.) She has tumbling first! She loves that her Friends are in class with her. I love that she has friends!!

Kalee's first day was a major success. Kalee got up in the morning and was SO EXCITED!! She got dressed and immediately put on her backpack. She was jumping up and down telling us SHE was going to SCHOOL!!!! So after we got to Mandy's...we had to give her a bath and actually do her hair (instead of the slight mess she was in the first picture!) We went to the sign and took pictures before school. Then in the back yard. They have to find their names and stick them on the attendance board so they know who is there. Putting her backpack away in her cubby. Mommy and Kalee Jo Singing her hello song. Criss cross applesauce. She said she had a blast and couldn't wait to go back! I miss her afternoon nap. She has been in bed by 7:00 each night this week. I am so glad she likes it. I deserve one kid who goes to school with no problem, right? I think so too...

I am starting a new adventure... I am now going to be watching kids during the week. We are at Mandy's house for now...since there's no Hinds Homestead yet to be in! I started yesterday morning. We start by taking the big kids to school. How cute are they all with their backpacks? Adorable! Then we go back to the house and the little kids play all morning. Then the little kids will go to school! I love that they are all in the same class!! Then we will pick them all up and hang out some more! We had a special Ice Cream trip for the first day of Preschool! They did this themselves...they are lined up by age. McTaggart cousins. I love it!!
