Pumpkin Patch
We went to the Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur yesterday. It was a lot of fun. The girls had fun going through the mazes...they had a few straw mazes, one in the sunflower field, and one in the corn. They liked the straw ones the best! We went for a tractor/wagon ride...Kalee was so excited. She kept telling Matt, "I want to ride the tractor now!!" They also had goats, pigs, llamas, ducks, bunnies and chickens. We walked through the pumpkin patch just to look at all the pumpkins growing. The girls thought it was so neat that they were all growing in the field. They decided Pop needs to plant pumpkins at the farm next year! We ate lunch and then picked out our pumpkins. Kalee was into the little pumpkins...she ended up with 5, I think. Peyton picked a big one for her and made Matt take the one that she picked him. Which is funny, because he is usually very picky about what pumpkin he gets to carve. I got my big one too. Peyton also picked a few little ones. I think we ended up coming home with 12 pumpkins! It was a fun day!

Matt and I made salsa last night. Megan has been telling me how she keeps making salsa and inspired me. So we bought ingredients and made a few batches. We were up kind of late...salsa making should start in the morning...not at 5 in the evening! But it is so good! I had some for lunch. Kalee and Peyton were eating it like crazy as well!
School went OK today. Peyton told me last night that she likes to go in the morning and have her talk time with Mrs. Richard. So I guess when Mrs. Richard takes her hand and leads her away from me in the mornings, we are calling it talk time! Hey, whatever makes her happy!
I have been doing Power 90...an in home boot camp video series. I am trying to lose weight and tone up because I want to look better and feel better about myself. But also...we are going to Mexico, and I would like to not be mistaken for a whale on the beach! So Saturday was Day 30 (the premise of the program is to do it 90 days and check your progress every 30) I have lost 10 pounds and 2 inches from my waist...along with other inches on the rest of my body! I am feeling pretty good about myself. Goober is going to let me borrow his hand weights. I need to go to a higher weight and want to try his out before I buy some for myself. Thanks Goo!
I am taking Kalee back to the doctor AGAIN tomorrow. Her rash thing is now gone from her bottom, but is spreading again on her torso and armpit. They better figure out what it is this time. I don't get it! This will be the third time she has been seen for it. It's been over a month since it started. She has done a round of antibiotics and is still having some cream stuff rubbed on her. Her poor booty is scarred from the rash. I guess I would be more worried if it seemed like it bothered her. She just doesn't seem to notice it. But still, she doesn't need to have some weird rash all the time!
