The wait is almost over!

Kate called today. She had her doctor's appointment this morning. The doctor did some things and gave her a cocktail to drink tonight. So hopefully she will go into labor in the next day. If not, she will be induced Thursday!!!! YIPPEE!!!! So Nan and Pop will be there! No birthday buddy for me though. That's too bad. We were so close! Kate says she is so ready. I'm sure if she has been having contractions for the last week. Steve, on the other hand, is a nervous wreck. They will be great parents!

I built a fort for the girls today with blankets in the living room. They thought it was pretty cool. It did crazy things to their hair. Peyton thought it was hilarious. Kalee has been accident free for at least two weeks, so something was bound to happen to break her streak. She fell and hit her head on a chair AGAIN! So she has a goose egg and bruise on her forehead. I once saw in a magazine a helmet you were supposed to buy for your kid when they started crawling so they didn't knock their heads on tables and stuff. I am thinking this might be a smart addition to Kalee's daily outfit. But she needs more of an entire suit. Maybe something like one of those sumo wrestler outfits we had at after prom in high school. In miniature size. I'll have to look into it. Peyton has kept her clothes on today. I am proud of her. We went to town today to run errands and she decided Jenny (Jennana, Jenaynay, whatever you like to call her) needed to go with us. So we took her stroller and Peyton pushed her around all the stores we went to. The people in the stores all loved it. Especially the old crowd at the mall. Kalee was not the star today. It was all about Peyton and Jenny. Don't worry, Kalee will win them back on our Thursday morning Mall Walk.

I am worried that the Biggest Loser will not be on this evening because of the inauguration stuff. Is it sad that I will be totally ticked if it is not on. I DON"T want to watch any more about the inauguration. He is sworn in. Move on and show me my Biggest Loser. I have my priorities!!

Thanks also for talking up the Wii to Matt. Don't think it did any good, but he at least knows Peyton liked it!

1/2 M: I have blisters on my heels. BLISTERS. WTF?? Guess it's time for new shoes. I am totally annoyed. Where is a good athletic trainer when you need one? Isn't that in an athletic trainers scope of training? If I had one supervising me I would never have gotten blisters I am sure. I guess I should get some mole skin...isn't that what it's called? Goober??

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
