Good Mom...not so much today.

I like to think that most days I am a pretty good mom. I hope I am at least. But today is not one of those days. I have lost all of my patience. I've got nothing left. I am so tired of having sick, grouchy, whiny, clingy kids. Why, oh why can't they just get better? I ended up taking Kalee to the doctor again yesterday. She has an ear infection and croup. She is horribly clingy and cries pretty much nonstop. You must have the patience of a saint to not get frustrated with this. I realize that she is sick. She doesn't feel good and that is why she is acting like this. But jeez, that doesn't help me any. I really am starting to wonder if she even remembers what it feels like to be well. I can't wait for the day that she is actually well again. Can't wait! Peyton is feeling better, but is still doing this whining, talking like a baby crap. I get so annoyed by it. I know she knows how to talk...don't act like you are a mute and point and whine. Seriously. Save that for Mary...she would believe that you can't say the words! AAAHHHH!! They are both napping now. So I am taking a few minutes to vent and and to talk positively to myself...Patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue (that's what mom always says, and she raised 5 of us, so it must mean something!). Please let Kalee be happier after a nap. PLEASE!!

Stacey and I went to see He's Just Not That Into You yesterday. It was really good. Funny. I enjoyed it. Hot guy from Alias is in it. Not Micheal Vartan, the friend guy. I can't think of his name, but I secretly love him (even though he was a prick in this movie). He is SO hot in my book. Now I want to see Confessions of a Shopaholic. I have been reading all the books and they are pretty funny. I also saw that Twilight is due out on DVD in about a month. So you can be sure that I will be purchasing that the minute it is in stores and spending the day watching it over and over.

Kate asked me to be Lily Mae's Godmother. So I am pretty excited about that. I need to go shopping. I have a few gift ideas for her...No, Kate, they do not include any type of clothing. I know that one more outfit may cause your closet to burst. I will try to hold back!

Peyton's eye appointment is tomorrow. I am looking forward to it. She isn't. I need to talk it up. Maybe the Berenstain Bears go to the Optometrist?! We'll have to go to the library and see.

I forgot to mention that we had an exciting visit from Goo Goo last week. It was good to see him. He is so busy with the whole athletic training/college thing that we never see him. So we had dinner and Peyton showed off for him. Kalee woke up Friday morning asking for him. "Goo Goo?? Goo Goo??" They are good buddies.

I can't type right today. It is so cold in this basement that my fingernails are actually blue. That's right, blue. This is taking me twice the time to finish because my fingers aren't working right!

Well, I think I hear a little Kalee. PLEASE PLEASE be happy. PLEASE, I am begging.
