Opinions Please!

I need some opinions. I am scrapping my color choice. Apparently what looked so good in theory, sucks in real life. I don't want to live inside a Tiffany box. So what is the overall opinion on chocolate brown and black. Basically all the picture frames I have in the living room are black. Do we think it is acceptable to have black frames on chocolate walls? Or do I need to paint all my frames white?

I went to the doctor this morning for my throat. I guess I have some sort of bronchial thing. He said my lungs sound bad...whatever that means. So I got meds. The only good thing is that I got a $10 Target gift card out of the whole deal because I had a new prescription and a coupon!

Peyton had a play date with Maddie across the street. I took her over and Peyton turned to me and said, "You can leave now." So I left and she played. They had a good time. They gave each other makeovers...Peyton came home with Purple eye shadow and lots of sparkles!

    I love chocolate for the walls.....I wanted to do our bath, but went with the color we used in the bedroom. That's my vote!!!

    White frames would stand out more on chocolate (which I love by the way) but do you really want to have to paint all your frames? Maybe paint the walls and see what you think with the black frames. If you like it, just keep it.

    I just got done painting my bathroom a medium brown and put in a black counter top and black picture frame on the wall and I love it!!!!!

    you know how i feel about chocolate brown...since everyroom in my house has some type of brown. i'm not sure about the black frames on a brown wall....they may get lost?

    Maybe you could have a mixture of frames - some black/some white.

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
