Stupid Holiday...
I guess I have missed blogging the last few days. I just really don't have that much to say. Not too much has been going on. Peyton has finished her rounds of antibiotics, and is feeling better. Kalee Jo is feeling sick again. She has a horrible cough, runny nose and had a slight fever yesterday and this morning. This afternoon the fever is gone. I don't know what I am going to do with this girl. She has honestly had about a week of feeling good in the last three months. Poor thing. So she is pretty crabby and all around not too fun to be around. Plus, she is back to not sleeping all that well, so that means momma is not sleeping well either. Oh when will Spring get here??
We went to Nan and Pop's yesterday. Pop needed a haircut, he was looking pretty rough. So the girls had fun visiting. Life is always funner at Nan and Pop's house. We were all in the car and Peyton wouldn't stop talking. Mom was saying how she thinks it is impossible that Mary hasn't heard her talk. I swear up and down that the girl talks constantly. She says words like Posh, incredible, tremendous...I swear. I will someday soon post a video, Mary...the blog will be dedicated to you!!
We have had an uneventful Valentine's Day. I truly do think this is a pretty stupid holiday. I did get the girls and Matt a little gift. And I always secretly hope Matt will do something surprising and get me flowers...I'll even settle for a card. He didn't. But a girl can wish. Peyton had her Valentine's Party at school yesterday. She was pretty excited by all the valentines and candy. She has been carrying them around in her purse and showing them to everyone. She even took them to Nan and Pop's house and slept with them. Both girls got lots of mail today. Cards and things from both sets of grandparents. Kalee kept saying WOW!!! WOW!!! Peyton was just as excited!
Lily gets baptized next weekend. That will be fun. She'll look so beautiful in our christening gown. I hope that's what she is wearing at least. All of us girls wore it, so did Peyton, Kalee and Ava. I am looking forward to holding her some more. I didn't hold her the last time I saw her since I had been around Peyton and her croup. I really don't want to be responsible for getting her sick. That would be terrible.
Emmy and Marc are having a girl!! The girls are taking over the Richardson family! I wonder what they will name her. Maybe Tara and Tyler should let us all know what their name is so that Emmy and Marc don't pick the same one...Sound good Tara? Or you could just tell me, your Favorite Sister!! Are you naming her Shelly Jo? That has a nice ring to it.
We got our digital TV converters today. So now our 5 channels are digital. Aren't you all jealous? I would be. Oh wait, we have 6 channels now because we get the WAND weather all the time channel. SWEET!!
I am still waiting to hear from each of you that you need tables reserved for trivia night. It is a fun time. There is alcohol and we won't mock you if you don't know the answers. Well, I won't...I can't speak for anyone else. Especially Team RADD...They are vicious! Team McHinds will be back, Tim and Jess are also planning on forming a team. You are missing out if you don't play!
