White Cow, Brown Cow
So we had a pretty busy weekend. We went to Gma and Gpa's house Saturday afternoon and hung out with Gma for a few hours. I helped her hang one of those vinyl letter sayings on her living room wall. It looks very professional if I do say so myself! Then we were off to Nan and Pop's house for our play date with Stacey. Peyton had her Posh Bedroom Game and was ready to play! We also brought the Wii so everyone could share in the fun! We had supper and a rousing game of Posh Bedroom, which Peyton won! All the kids were very enthusiastic about it! Good times. Then we set up the Wii. We all had a blast playing. I do think that Pop was the most excited about it. Our favorite game by far is cow racing. For those of you who aren't familiar, your Mii rides a white cow or brown cow through a race course trying to get the most scare crows knocked down and also jumping over fences. I never knew it would be so freaking hilarious to have my Mii ride a cow and jump fences, but it was. We were all dying laughing. It was especially hilarious to watch Pop, Mandy and Stacey (I am sure I do it too, but I don't see myself, now do I?). They widen their feet and crouch down into their Cow Riding stance. Then we go crazy cheering for white cow or brown cow. We really decided that White Cow has some ups and is a crazy jumping machine! Some of them swear brown cow is inferior, but I am going to say it was the rider... You really have to play to truly appreciate the awesomeness that is Cow Racing!!! Also funny was Adam...he had very particular ideas about who should win. If that person didn't win, he was ticked. I am a little hurt, Adam Lynn, that you never cheered for Aunt Shelly.

We had Lily Bug's baptism Sunday. She was adorable in her gown. All the girls in our family have worn it now. She also wore the slippers that Peyton and Kalee wore. (Ava would have worn them if her Godparents hadn't gotten the flu and missed her baptism. I know, Mandy, we suck!) I have gotten used to a church with a crying room, so was a little nervous about how the girls would do. I don't like how people stare at you like you are a freak when your kids talk in church. They are 1 1/2 and 3 for goodness sake, what do you expect? I am happy to report that they did very well. Staying mostly quiet. By the end I was pretty much exhausted from Shush'ing them. I just don't get much out of church when I take the girls. It's hard to pay attention and make sure they are not disturbing everyone around them. I guess I should learn not to care so much. Anyway...Lily's baptism was nice. She did NOT care for the whole ordeal, cried basically the whole time. I think Kate was pretty concerned and I don't think Steve likes to make a scene either, but it was OK, it was private and why wouldn't a one month old cry when everyone is touching her, pouring water on her head, etc and she just wants to eat something and have a nap!!
Lily got me a beautiful bracelet. I love it! We then had a nice lunch at Kate and Steve's house. Yummy. Cheryl made this pudding stuff that was amazing! I can't wait for the recipe. It was like coconut cream pie in a pudding. YUMMY!! Then it was back to Nan and Pop's for more Cow Racing with Pop!
Today is Stacey's Birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY STACEY!!! We love you!!
Goober, I am disgusted by your JB choices (Though I do understand the whole I'm in college and they were $1 thing. Been there, done that!)...You are just killing me lately. No trivia night, dissing Miller products...THANK GOD you didn't know how the RM ended up naked. Otherwise, we would have some serious issues...SERIOUS!!
Ashley and Lauren...how was Mardi Gras?? My brother in law's sister went and said it was a good time. She was complaining that her feet hurt from all the walking she did!
