Wii, Wii, Wii!!!
We have had a fun day here in the Burg. Matt didn't have to work, so that was exciting to have him home. We all went to pick up Peyton from school and she was very excited to see Daddy. "I didn't know you were coming!!" followed by her little hehe laugh with her hand over her mouth and nodding her head. (If you've ever seen her do it, you know what I am talking about!) Then we went to Target and bought Wii Play!! Now we have 2 Wii-motes (as Matt informed me they were called. Thanks JimBo, our Wii expert) and are ready for a party! We also went to Office Depot to look for baby shower invite paper for Baby B! I am super excited about the paper I found...it's perfect, and was 60% off since the store is going out of business. So if you need any office supplies, photo paper, etc, that is the place to go. They have some pretty good deals right now!
We then came home have basically been playing Wii all afternoon. I realize that my lack of video game training is hurting me in my Matt and Shelly match ups. He is basically kicking my ass in every game we play. I need to have one of my sisters over to play. None of us had video games growing up, so the match up might be a little more even. I'll tell you right now that if there is team play involved, you probably don't want me on your team. I am that bad! I am hopelessly addicted to Wii Fit. I played it until 12:30 last night. I was just going to do it for a few minutes while Peyton's clothes dried (today was yellow day at school and her one yellow outfit was dirty). But I got sucked in and ended up playing it forever. When I looked at the clock, I couldn't believe what time it was! I love the step games, I am pretty good at those. And Hula Hooping. In case you didn't know, I am a Pawnee Hula Hooping champion. They used to have this country fair on the square when we were little and I would enter the hula hooping contest. I won every time. I would hula hoop for hours. No joke! I am awesome! (See, I have other talents besides video games, so if you ever need a hula hooping partner, I am your girl! I even have my own real Hula Hoop that Katie gave me in college!)
Kalee is getting more teeth...had been for a few weeks now, but they are finally starting to poke through. Of course something had to happen with her since she is off all medicine and I think is actually not sick anymore. She has been crabby, but Tylenol is a wonderful thing and is helping with that!
We are going to go to Gma and Gpa's house tomorrow to work on invitations, so the girls are excited to do that. They haven't seen Gma and Gpa for a few weeks. They have been sick and Debbie has not been feeling well, so we have stayed away. I think that Debbie is probably just as excited that we are coming over as they are! Then we are off to Nan and Pop's to spend the night. Lily's baptism is in Greenville, and mass is at 10, so that will save us an hour driving time. Peyton has requested that Stacey be available to play with her. She has her game picked out to take with us and everything. She says Stacey is very excited about it. I hope this is true!
Matt is working on the walls in the entry. Maybe sometime in the next few months my living area will actually be finished! Anybody want to paint with me?? Tara is usually my painting buddy, but she can't do it now, not with little Shelly Jo in her belly!
Well, I need to get ready for our big weekend. I have no idea what I am going to wear.

Jimmy has WII Fit and says it really pisses him off cuz if he hasn't been on it for a few days, the F'n (as Jimmy tells the story) lady says, "you've haven't been on since........." It drives him crazy!!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG---I never knew you were such the Holla-Hoop Queen!!! Jim and I are having our Fish Fry again this May (for all the family again, and, no, this year it is not for Gary) and will have Hoese-Shoes as an additional activity and maybe we will have Hoola-Hooping as well!!! Jim and Mikey do that all the time at their DJ jobs as a party game!!!!
Luv ya,
Lori
Doug may have to challenge you to a WiiFIt Hula Hoop match. He's the expert on my game. I can't do the advanced hula hoop.... my sides start cramping and I have to stop...
