Clean, SO CLEAN!!

Yesterday, Mom, Mandy, and Kate came over to help me clean and get the house put back together. Adam, Ava, and Lily also came (of course!). It was wonderful!! We got the house cleaned in no time. It is so nice to have help and adult conversation! Even the ceiling fans are clean...something I usually overlook (I know, not something I am proud of! But in my defense, they are usually on, so I don't notice the layers of nastiness that have built up! Ignorance is Bliss!). Maybe this should be something we do every year, season, month...whatever! What do you think family?? I am sure they are all reading this thinking "Never again, not a chance!" I did feed them lunch. I even made pumpkin cake for Adam...it's one of his favorites. We also started priming the stairway. I have never primed anything before, I guess. I didn't realize how thick and annoying it is to use. I have one more wall to finish, then I can finally finish painting.
It was Lily's first time at Aunt Shelly's house!
The kids all LOVE her!Can I please hold Lily?

So I will admit that I have a few addictions...Target, dessert, running (it balances out the dessert), the Wii...well, I am now realizing that I am a total dork. I have found a way to combine the Wii and running. I unlocked this thing called Free Run, so now, I can run on the treadmill and hold the remote, making me run on the Wii. Then, all my running minutes get clocked into my piggy bank and I will very soon be getting that fancy new piggy bank that I am so looking forward to! Plus, I have something to look at when I have to run inside. Win, win!! I also have a new motivation for running. Let me back up...on Wii, you can make your own "Mii". The character you play with in all the games. So everyone who had played ours has a Mii on the Wii. Then in all the games you play, the Mii's are the audience. Kalee especially has a lot of fun with this. She loves to watch and pick out all the Mii's that she knows. So most people, OK EVERYONE, who had made a Mii has tried to make it look like themselves. Kalee's is the best one, but Kevin's is pretty good too! EVERYONE, that is, except for Tyler. He made this super scary guy. He looks like a Who. He has a mustache and a pony tail. He has a pig nose. He is creepy looking. So now this super scary Tyler is in the audience of all the games. AND, as I am running, the other Mii's are running along with me. Back to my new motivation...GET AWAY FROM TYLER!! The other night, his Mii would not leave me alone. He kept running right next to me and was completely freaking me out! He runs right by me and keeps turning his head to look at me. So, thanks Ty for that extra little push of motivation. Thanks a lot! (I do realize this is not real...don't worry, I have not completely lost myself in the dream world that is Wii Fit!)

**Lori, cow racing is on Wii Play...a different game. Totally worth the purchase!!
