Oh, Peyton...

We had a funny this morning. The other day, I was trying to get out the door to get Peyton to school. I was carrying Kalee, my purse, Kalee's breakfast and drink...my hands were full. Matt had put his ladder in the way of the garage door, so I couldn't get out. I said something like Your stinking Daddy, he left his ladder right in our way! to Peyton. So this morning, Matt is helping us out to the van. He takes Peyton and Kalee downstairs. I hear Peyton telling him something in her honest, no messing around voice. He starts laughing and yells that I need to hear what she just told him. Apparently, she said, "You need to start putting your things away, Daddy. Mommy doesn't like it and it makes her really grumpy!" So I said you think I'm grumpy? She says, "No, things Daddy does just make you grumpy!" Oh, Peyton, you are the light of my life. She just cracks me up.

She went off to school today. They are having a St. Patrick's Day fun day. I don't know if it's really a party, but she wore her green, so she will not be pinched!

Kalee and I went Mall Walking. Then I let her play a bit and she dirtied her pants, so we had to leave because her wipes and diapers were in the van. I was ready to go anyway. It was very hot in there today. I have a headache that is quickly turning into a migraine, so I needed to get to my drugs! Now if Kalee would just understand the concept of a quiet, no screaming half hour, they would kick in a lot faster. Unfortunately, she doesn't get that, so too bad for me! I want it to go away. Today is the last day of our Museum membership, so I thought we could go play there for a few hours this afternoon. But loud children in the museum and a headache are not a fun mix!

Tara and I are going on a date. I'm pretty excited. I honestly don't even really know what we are doing. Maybe I should have asked...she said free dinner, drinks, and a DD, did I want to come. Who turns down an offer like that?? So Tara, what are we doing?

I'm looking forward to this weekend. Everyone is going to come over and help me clean and paint! Or I am going to clean and paint while everyone sits downstairs and watches the girls and plays Wii. I gave them both options, and no one told me what they were accepting. But Adam and Ava and Lily are all coming to Aunt Shelly's to play! I'm not telling Peyton and Kalee. It will be a surprise. I can just hear Peyton now...she'll yell something like "AAHHH Look!! It's my friends Adam and Ava!! AAAHHH" And Kalee will be saying Baby!! Baby!! and Kate!! Kate!!

    well its the annual turkey banquet. they are raising money for the turkey hunting association (i think). we will be surrounded by turkey hunters. free food and drinks. lots of raffles for guns and other hunting items. we are sponsors of the banquet representing B&S since both Tyler and Shawn will be on their way home from Florida. Hopefully you won't find it boring....you can drink so you won't be bored. Rachel and Marc are double dating with us so they can have a DD also. It's nothing special, but I had a lot of fun last year!!

    Sounds fun! I am excited to go! I never do anything!! Maybe I'll win a gun! Since I am a B&S Representative, does this mean I finally get a B&S shirt??!!

    Tyler says he is sending me with money so I can enter every raffle for a gun. He has never won a gun and is dying to win one. I will have to look into getting some B&S shirts, but don't feel bad I don't have any either....mine somehow always end up in Tyler's pile of clothes and he ruins them!!!

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. I took some drugs and have been laying on a heating pad, so it is feeling a little better. I need to run, but just don't know if that will happen tonight. This puts a cramp in my training! Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
