St. Patty's

The girls were excited to find that the leprechauns had come to their house on St. Patrick's Day. "Those silly Leprechauns" put stamps on their hands, put up green streamers, painted shamrocks all over the windows and mirrors, and left a treasure map for the girls to find some gold. They came while the girls were sleeping. Peyton woke up and ran out into the living room. She was pretty much beside herself with excitement! It was so cute. So once Kalee woke up, they went on their treasure hunt. They followed their map...rang the doorbell, rode their scooters to the van, honked the horn, filled the bird feeder, shot a basket at the playhouse, went down the slide and finally found some treasure in the sand box. At one point, Kalee was playing with the balloons that they left around the yard and Peyton turned to her and said, "Kalee come on!! We don't have time for playing with that, we have to find the treasure!!!"

We went to Allie's softball game last night. She played at LLCC. They won both games. She pitched the first. Peyton likes to see her throw that ball! Debbie was trying to explain the rules to Peyton. I am not so sure if she got it. Then we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner...Peyton's favorite because she can get pancakes all the time! The girls used their leprechaun gold to buy some treats.

Matt left this morning for the MAN TRIP! He should have a fun time. He took my camera, so maybe I can post some pics when he gets back. It is a really neat place, just a shack in the water.

I am excited to hear from Mary that she and JP are going to come to the firehouse! Matt is excited too, though he won't show it! I think he likes for people to see what he does and show off the firehouse. I am really hoping that I will take Peyton and she will actually talk to Mary. I am dying for Mary to hear her.

I am getting my hair cut tomorrow. Thank god. I am so tired of my hair. It is to the length where all I do is put it in a ponytail and never do anything to it. Then I am going to my friend Sarah's house. Dottie is in town from Alaska and we are all getting together. So I get to meet Carilyn and Samantha (the new babes). Peyton is excited to play with Quarton. Though she may think he is an elephant at this point because she calls Horton Hears a Who Quarton Hears a Who. She may be a little shocked to find that he is a little boy!

It is just a little boring here lately. We don't have much going on.
