We didn't cross our fingers hard enough...

I am sad to report that Matt kept a stupid, gay mustache. YUCK! I knew he would do that. I think I will try to shave it off while he sleeps tonight...


Matt took Peyton to school this morning. Apparently she cried. He called and asked if she does that all the time. I told him no, but some days are worse than others. He said that he was done, he's never doing it again. It is mommy's job. To which I replied, well, that just pisses me off...you are the dad, things don't work that way. Welcome to my world. This is what he gets for laughing and making fun of me while I sat there and cried the first two weeks of taking her to school. Do you get that he made me mad this morning??!!


The Stupid F-ing ants are back (sorry Tara). I have a theory on this...they knew that Matt was gone. They put on their little gas masks while Pop was here spraying and waited it out. They knew that they didn't need to come out while Matt was in Florida to drive me crazy. They knew that single parenting would be enough to make that happen for one week. Now that Matt is back, they have decided to reappear just to piss me off. I HATE THESE STUPID THINGS!!! I am pretty much ready to move just to get away from them.


Mandy should be a homeowner in a few hours. She closes on her house today. We are going to go help clean, paint, whatever tomorrow. She's pretty excited!


We are going to the Springfield Fireman's Club tonight for their fish fry. We go every year with a group from DFD. It's so tasty! Matt also wants to go to that new store, Gander Mountain, I think it's called. He thinks he needs to buy another gun after his trip.


Peyton was walking down the hall this morning and fell into the bathroom door frame. She didn't have her glasses on. So she says that's why she fell, she couldn't see. She has a huge lump on her forehead now. She sat a little bit with ice on it before she left for school, but it's going to leave a big bruise I am sure. Just when they were starting to look like we didn't beat them!

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
