Kalee Jo

We are having a birthday party for Kalee Jo today! We will be in Alabama for her real birthday, so today is the day for her fake birthday. We have been cleaning all week...I have been cleaning all week, the girls have done their best to keep everything out that I just tried to put away! We made Kalee's cake yesterday. She is very excited. It was on the table cooking and she ran up and sat down in her chair and started singing happy birthday, then she blew out the "candles". She did this for about 15 minutes. It was pretty cute. She wanted a Mickey Mouse birthday, so she has a mousy cake and decorations. She tells me that Grandpa, Mandy and Ava are bringing her presents. I guess the others are off the hook and don't need to worry about anything, cuz she only want it from those three!! Peyton has been anxiously awaiting this day all week also. Every morning she wakes up and asks is it Kalee's birthday party day yet? Yesterday, I told her no, it's tomorrow. She went back to her room, lay down in her bed for a bit, then came back out. Its tomorrow!! she told me...I slept again, so it is time for the party!! If only it worked that way!

Tyler and Kevin are coming early today to help Matt try to fix our little water/hole in the floor and wall problem. Hopefully it won't be as involved as Matt originally thought it was going to be!!

I hear little feet waking up upstairs, so I better go!!

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. I took some drugs and have been laying on a heating pad, so it is feeling a little better. I need to run, but just don't know if that will happen tonight. This puts a cramp in my training! Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
