Love la Fondita!!

Busy day today! I am taking a short break from everything to keep up my blogging streak!

We had Day 4 of swim lessons this morning. 65*...not my idea of swimming weather. They pretty much hurried through the class then let them have free time. All of the kids in the class ended up just sitting in water up to their shoulders because it was warmer than the air. Kalee and Peyton were both shivering, goose bump covered girls by the time it was over. But at least there was no crying! Maybe next week will be warmer, even though we will probably have to start all over on the whole shyness thing.

After swim lessons we went to lunch at La Fondita with Debbie W. So yummy and such good company! I miss Debbie! We need to get together more often!! Then we were off to run a couple errands I didn't get done yesterday.

So we are home now and I am hoping the girls have a nice nap here before we have to leave for Hillsboro. I don't want Kate and Steve to have to deal with grouchy girls! They are both very excited to see Lily Mae!! And according to Peyton, Kate and Steve are both anxiously awaiting their arrival because, "They have been missing Peyton!!" Kalee would also like to see Molly Jo Burgess tonight, but I have told her that she won't see MJ until tomorrow. Any time Kalee talks about her, it is Molly Jo Burgess, not just Molly! And she says it so cute (well, isn't everything she does cute?? I mean really!! OK, maybe except for right now as she is yelling MOMMY and kicking her feet against the wall as she lays in her bed!)

Don't know much else really, and I have wasted enough time. I have to wash my hair, get ready for our night out, and pack for out long weekend away! So much to do!!

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. I took some drugs and have been laying on a heating pad, so it is feeling a little better. I need to run, but just don't know if that will happen tonight. This puts a cramp in my training! Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place.
