Fire Prevention Week
I took the girls up to the fire house today for their fire prevention week show. They gives tours of the firehouse (that Peyton made me go on, even though we've been there tons of times!), they have a smoke house (which we didn't do), let kids slide down the pole (which neither Peyton or Kalee wanted to do), have one of the guys get all his gear on (they were both standing up cheering him on), and have a magic show and puppet show (LOVED this!).
The show was so cute. Peyton LOVED it. She was playing along and yelling "Get out and stay out!!" and clapping and everything. It was so cute. He would do a magic trick and she would put her hands over her mouth and laugh or act shocked. Kalee cried a little when the Sparky and Elmo puppets were talking. But once she say on my lap, she was fine. They both asked to see it again once we got in the van to leave.
I debated all day whether or not to go to the doctor for my throat. I didn't end up going. I am planning now on going in the morning (I guess I could go now, they are open until 8, but then I would miss Vampire Diaries...the only other show I watch besides Biggest Loser!). Kalee's doctor called about her dermatologist appointment. So she will be going there Monday. His name is Dr. Carney...can you trust someone named Carney??
Speaking of Biggest Loser...I can't stand purple Tracey girl. She drives me crazy. I feel bad for Coach Mo. He is getting a crappy deal. I was glad the black shirt guy went home. I didn't like him too much either. I am still rooting for the kid who got kicked off last season and is back.
The girls have been playing in the garage. Kalee is getting very good at riding her tricycle. She is all over the place. Peyton is getting faster on her bike. She is always asking if she can take the training wheels off yet. (She's not that good!!)
Tomorrow is Mindy's wedding rehearsal. I am pretty sure we have all we need for the wedding. I am hoping Peyton will cooperate with the hair stylists. But am prepared to do her hair if she doesn't. With her stranger track record, I am 99% positive I will be doing her hair! But I have been talking it up. We looked at pictures of different hair styles today online, and I talked about how Tara Jo, Riley, Mindy, Allie, Carrie and Grace are all going to be there to get their hair done. I think she is more concerned with where Molly Jo will be while Tara is in this wedding. Apparently she doesn't have faith in Tyler's Daddy skills!! Ty--I think she's still mad that you didn't invite her to your birthday party!!
