Halloween

The girls had a fun Halloween. Kalee wore her Minnie Mouse costume and Peyton was Strawberry Shortcake! I think they were adorable! We went to Grandma Joan's Saturday for lunch and they wore their costumes there. Matt and I took them trick or treating that night. We ended up only going to 3 houses. But the last house the lady said she was done and basically gave all her candy to the girls. So they got tons! They just weren't too sure about strangers giving them candy! (which I guess is a good thing!) The Warrensburg Fire Department has a Halloween parade every year. They put all the trucks in it and walk handing out tons of candy. So we went to that and they got even more! Who really needs so much candy? Though it is nice for potty training...Kalee says "if I tinkle can I have candy?" Heck ya!


The girls and I spent yesterday afternoon raking leaves. Now, I think there is just really no point to raking leaves. It's stupid. Whoever was the idiot who said wow, I think I'll spend my day raking these things all into a pile deserves to be shot! Oh, to live in the country and let them all blow away! Anyway, I did it because Peyton asked to play in them. So they jumped and played for a long time! Then Matt came home and burned them!

Happy 40th Birthday to Chat!! I forget which day exactly, but I know it's around here sometime!!

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. I took some drugs and have been laying on a heating pad, so it is feeling a little better. I need to run, but just don't know if that will happen tonight. This puts a cramp in my training! Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
