LONG day...

Today has been the longest day ever! We got up and took Peyton to school. Then Kalee and I came home and she played while I worked out. Then we went to get Peyton at school. Came home, had lunch. Told the girls we were going to go get their flu shots after lunch. Peyton freaked out. Immediately started crying and saying she didn't want a shot. I got her calmed down with the promise of Dairy Queen after the shots. We went to County Health Department for their shots. Oh, what a joy the County Health Department is...what a joy! It took us an hour and a half to get their shots. They got both the normal vaccine and the H1 N1 (mom you'll be happy to hear!). Luckily, there were two ladies in the room giving the shots at the same time. Peyton FREAKED out, crying and screaming hysterically. She scared Kalee to death and Kalee started crying. I felt bad that they were freaking out so much, but I guess those ladies are used to it. While we were waiting, the kids before us were all crying too. Anyway, we got through it and went to get ice cream. Kalee sucked down 2 ice cream cones, Peyton had one. Then we came home and the girls went to have their naps. Kalee slept her normal few hours. Peyton just kept sleeping and sleeping. At 6:30, I debated whether or not I should wake her up, or let her sleep hoping that she slept through the night. Well, she woke up at 8:40...Wide awake and ready to go! So we cleaned the house, moved around the furniture (things I like to do when bored!), and watched The Little Mermaid. I finally convinced her to go lay down in bed again at 12:15 and try to go to sleep. She is currently laying in bed reading books. Cross your fingers that they will both sleep in nice and late tomorrow morning! And I am now doing laundry because Matt asked me to make sure his work clothes were washed and I forgot. Of course, they weren't washed. How am I supposed to know they need washed when they are not in the dirty clothes? GRRR!! So as soon as they are washed and in the dryer, I am off to bed as well!!
New Moon comes out in 17 days! I am so excited! SO EXCITED!!
Tracey got voted off of Biggest Loser! That's so great. I was so completely annoyed by her! I read an article today about how she doesn't know why she was portrayed as the bad guy. She is really "just a sweetheart!" PLEASE! That woman is no sweetheart! I will enjoy the rest of the season so much more now!!
Today in the van, Kalee and I were rocking out to Cross Canadian. Kalee started singing along with all the songs. It is hilarious to me that she knows the words! She's got some good taste in music!
The book fair was at Peyton's school this week. Peyton made sure to tell me all about the books that she saw and thought she needed! I told her if she had a good week at school and didn't throw fits when she got dropped off, we would look at the books. She had a pretty good week, so she got some new books (the ones she is now reading in bed when I wish she was sleeping.) She is getting better about being dropped off. She still clings, but there haven't been tears in awhile. I take her in and she does her "jobs", then I hand her off to Mrs. Richard so they can have their morning chat. Peyton tells me she likes to talk to Mrs. Richard in the morning. Whatever works! We tried talking to her about why she gets upset when we leave and she says it's because she misses me and Kalee and doesn't want to be left alone there. We explained that she isn't alone. Her teachers are there and all of her friends. There are even pictures of me, Matt, and Kalee in her cubby and in the scrapbook that they made at the beginning of the year. Like I've said before, I just don't know how to make it easier.
We are looking forward to Friday! We are going to go shopping with Kate and Lily! We are hitting up Tuscola outlets! WOOHOO!! Hopefully I can find some good bargains! Peyton really needs a new winter coat, and Kalee could use some more big girl panties!! (So proud of her, by the way. She is doing very well with her potty training!!) Oh, and Kate has coupons for the Coach outlet...I want a Coach...really bad!! I think I deserve it, don't you? Yup, I thought so!
Well, the washer is almost done. But, I still hear Peyton reading...
