Sleep is Impossible...
Well, It's official, I'm an insomniac. I don't sleep. Maybe three hours a night. It's ridiculous. I go to bed and fall asleep, but am up every night by 1. Then it's impossible to go back to sleep. I even got sleeping pills from the doctor. But they make me tired all the time. And I'm afraid to use them when Matt's not here or has to leave early, so one day out of three, I may sleep more than three hours. Good times.
You've probably heard our exciting news. We are buying 5 acres and building a house in the spring. I filed our rezoning request Thursday. It is currently zoned agricultural, so we need to get it changed to residential. That process takes 2 months. We are working on getting our plans finished. Ryan is drawing them for us. He is amazing. We started last week, but it got late, so we are going to his house today to work on them some more. His program is awesome. As he draws it out in 2-D, it is also making it in 3-D. So he can push a button and we can see exactly what it will be like. I went to a fireplace showroom yesterday to look around. Was just wanting to get a better idea of size. Got some good ideas. This is such a fun thing for me. Nothing like having an unused interior design degree and getting to design and build your own house!! I am thrilled! I am even more happy, though, to be moving back to Pawnee! I miss home. I miss friends and family. I want our girls to go to a school where people know them. Peyton and Adam will be in the same grade. I think it will be one of our best decisions yet!
Now we just have to get the house on the market. We had hoped to have it done by the first of this week. Then life got in the way. So I think after tomorrow, Matt will be finished with his repairs and we can get it done. I have all the painting finished. Now I just need to convince the girls that it is OK to clean up after themselves!! I am always nervous that it smells like dog in here (you know how you can't smell your own house, but it must smell like something!). I got a wax melter at Yankee Candle and am going to burn my favorite Christmas Cookie scents!!
I went to Coach again yesterday. I really am going to start advertising my personal shopper services to the greater Oklahoma area! I went to get my friend a gift for his wife. Now I have to get it wrapped and shipped. Wrapped, because let's face it, he just won't do it! And she deserves a prettily wrapped present! I will continue my personal shopping services today on another small trip into Springfield!

Shell, don't use Marx in Springfield for fireplace stuff. Nan that I work with is using them for new doors only on her fireplace and they are giving her the run around.
