Christmas 2009
OK, let's try this again...if I have time to play Farmville, I should have time to update my blog more often!
We had a great Christmas. It was so fun to watch the girls open their gifts this year. They both were so excited. Kalee was especially excited. I got her this baby doll that crawls and talks. It is motion activated...pretty sure it creeps me out! Anyway, even wrapped, it still moved. She sat down next to it and it started moving. She jumped up and yelled "MY BABY!! SANTA BROUGHT ME A BABY!!" Then she ripped into it. The look on her face tells it all...she was in love with it!
Peyton was most excited about her Strawberry Shortcake House. I think she got every piece of Strawberry Shortcake play set that they sell!
I messed up with the wrapping paper. Peyton is too smart for me...I was putting it all away and Peyton says, "Why do we have the same paper that Santa used?" OOPS! I told her I wondered why that paper had been used, Santa must have had to borrow it. She decided he must have use it while the reindeer drank the water the girls left them. She asked if I had seen Santa in my room when he got the paper and thinks that next year, we should leave it in the living room so he doesn't wake me up! Sounds good to me!!
