Interview, Kalee

Matt says his interview was "Eh, so so." It could have been better, it could have been worse. I bet all people feel that way after interviews. I know I always felt like it should have gone better. He was so cute this morning in his uniform. I tried to take his picture but he wouldn't cooperate. He can be difficult at times...

Does anyone want to adopt Kalee for a few weeks and potty train her? I am so frustrated by the whole process. She has no desire. She just told me she didn't want to be a big girl, just a girl. She will sit on the potty for 20 minutes and not do anything, then get up, put on her mousy panties, and poop in them. GRRR!!

I tried to watch Biggest Loser last night. But I had a migraine, so ended up going to bed. Plus, I really don't like the show with the weird doctor. I just want to see them work out and lose weight, I don't really care what their suspected real age is. I need to look up and see who was voted off. I don't have any favorites at this point. Does anyone else?

We've had a lazy day here. I haven't done anything I should do...clean, cook, laundry, write a speech for Katie's wedding...maybe tomorrow. We all know how I love speeches. I took 4 months to write Kate's, and about 7 rewrites to do Tara Jo's.

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. I took some drugs and have been laying on a heating pad, so it is feeling a little better. I need to run, but just don't know if that will happen tonight. This puts a cramp in my training! Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! There may be a problem though...I think it is at the same time that DWTS is going to be on. Speaking of DWTS...di...

Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
