Weekend

We had a busy weekend. Friday, the girls and I went to Pawnee to give Nan a present. I have been making greeting cards and wanted to give her them. I am pretty proud of them. I made some birthday, thank you, miss you, blank cards...my Cricut is AWESOME!! (or my Ant as Peyton calls it! Ha!) If anybody wants some, let me know, I'd be happy to make you some. We ended up going to dinner with Nan and Pop at Los Agaves. Yummy!!



Saturday, we went to Springfield to get the Hinds cousin picture taken with Molly Jo. They turned out pretty cute! I'll post them when we get them back on January 26th...a very special day!! Peyton actually smiled and cooperated this time. It was great! Molly was in serious mode. Tara says the only place she doesn't smile is the picture studio!

We also went to Pawnee again for Matt to look at the staircase we are going to put in our house. We needed to measure it so Ryan can work it into the plans. It's going to be awesome!!

Nan asked if the girls could spend the night, so Matt and I went to eat dinner at magic Kitchen!! My favorite! We also did a little Mexico shopping!



The girls ended up spending two nights at Nan and Pop's house. I cleaned the house, slept!, and played Wii! Matt beat Super Mario Brothers (with no help from me...I am horrible at video games. I think he was happy when I stopped playing!) It was a productive weekend!!

Yesterday, the girls and I went to Kate and Steve's to play (so fun!). I had Lily's birthday present and wanted to get it to her. It's a kitchen/market...it is so cute! Lily was so cute looking at it all and playing with it. Kate said after we left, she played with it all night...eating the food, cooking and playing with her shopping bag! She is so environmentally responsible! I can't believe Lily is going to be 1 Thursday!

Well, I have a chiropractor appointment and then we have to pick up Peyton from school. Peyton also has an eye appointment today. I'll be anxious to see what they say. She will be having another full exam with eye dilation and everything. Hopefully it goes smoothly.

7 days until my 30th birthday!!

18 days until we leave for Mexico!!!

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! There may be a problem though...I think it is at the same time that DWTS is going to be on. Speaking of DWTS...di...

Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place.
