Being positive...or at least trying to be!

OK, I will try to be positive and believe that the house will sell soon and we will be building soon as well! So I am going to share what I am excited about now...

I picked our appliances for the new house!!! They are super wonderful! I have said all along that the kitchen is one of the most important rooms to me. I want lots of counter space and plenty of cabinets! If you know me at all, you know that I love cooking! I think I have more than my share of kitchen accessories. I am looking forward to having the space to actually spread out and make things! Plus the storage areas to stay organized! I am also looking forward to having a display area for my good china. I have had it in the attic since we have lived in this house. I want to be able to look at it and use it whenever I want!!

So these are my appliance choices...all GE Profile, all stainless steel. I will have a 36" gas cook top. Double wall ovens. The top one being an Advantium oven. It is a combination Microwave and Convection Oven, so will serve as a second oven when needed! I am pretty excited about it, I think it's cool! And the refrigerator with a bottom freezer. Looking forward to not having to stoop down to see what's in the fridge! We will also have a dishwasher, but I haven't really decided on that one yet.

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
