Some of My Favorite Things

Here are some of my favorite things right now (other than the obvious family and friends!!)...
My Pandora Bracelet. Lily gave this to me for Christmas. She got me the pink glass bead. I think it is so pretty. Matt got me the Breast Cancer Awareness charm for my birthday. It makes me happy and reminds me every day of mom and her strength.This bedding!!! In all the houses Matt and I have lived in, we have never decorated our master bedroom. We have always lived with whatever color we inherited with the house. I have never bought pretty bedding for myself! I have always drooled over brown and orange bedding. I found this at Target last week, and bought it immediately! I LOVE IT!! It has just an accent of rusty orange that I love. I am going to get brown sheets and bed skirt. The girls and I went and got paint samples today to look at colors. I am going to paint the wall that the bed will be against in the new house orange to match! It will be beautiful, trust me!!!I love Poppies! My favorite flower of all time is a Gerber Daisy, but I really like Poppies too! I found a print with orange flowers that I like...I want to find something large to put above my faux fireplace in the master bedroom. This print is $500! So I won't be getting it obviously!!!But it does make me happy! My new PINK Perfume from Victoria's Secret. Kate got me this for my birthday. I haven't bought myself new perfume since Matt and I got married. I mostly just wear body splash. I can never decide on perfume! But I love this! It smells so clean. Thanks Kate!!



My final happy things are Kalee's Minnie Mouse Panties!! She loves to wear them and since she is such a big girl now and doesn't need diapers anymore, I love them too!! I'm so proud of her!!

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. I took some drugs and have been laying on a heating pad, so it is feeling a little better. I need to run, but just don't know if that will happen tonight. This puts a cramp in my training! Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! There may be a problem though...I think it is at the same time that DWTS is going to be on. Speaking of DWTS...di...

Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
