Peyton hurt her foot...No, not the super large stick of wood she got stuck in it last week...she was (in her own words) "just sitting in this chair and fell."
However, ask Kalee what happened and she said, "She was on my bed and jumped off of it and jumped over my step stool and was trying to get into this chair..."
Well, that explains how she got hurt!
Anyway, Peyton was milking it for all it was worth.
Finally, Kalee says, "Daddy, are we going to have to cut her foot off?!"
That made Peyton rethink her whining!
Kalee hit her funny bone this morning.
It hurt, she cried.
We've all been there, you know how bad this hurts!
I told her she hit her funny bone, did she know she had a funny bone?
Peyton asked Daddy if he had a funny bone. He said no, he's not very funny.
Peyton, "Well, I am funny. Really funny, so I have a really funny bone!"
"Mommy, do you have a funny bone?"
Me, "no, I'm not too funny either, I'm just beautiful!" (said with sarcasm! I am not this into myself, really!)
Peyton, "well, Mommy has a beautiful bone!!"
Meanwhile, Kalee decided she doesn't have a funny bone, she has a Goofy Bone! A Super Goofy Bone!
Peyton was being silly last night. Telling us stories and making up words. (Being herself in other words!)
Matt told her you are so silly Peyton. I wonder who you get that from.
She immediately answered, "Mommy!"
No pause, no thinking about it.
Apparently, I am silly and have passed this on to my children.
In other news...
I have to mow today. Yuck. Do you know how hot it is outside? I got up this morning and got ready to do it only to realize that the grass is pretty wet with dew. So now I am waiting for it to dry out and really heat up outside. YAY! (again, sarcasm font!)
Matt is off work. Too wet to do what they planned at the electricians. Good for him since it must have involved digging in the 95* weather. Hopefully he will fix the hole Harley has dug under the fence allowing his to run away. He always comes back, but usually I get a call from the neighbors...Harley is visiting again! So annoying!
I am also thinking I will make us all dress up (well, as much as the Burg Hinds' Fam dresses up...) tonight and try my hand at more tripod pictures. This time of the whole family. They will be much more exciting than just me. I can hear Matt now...I haven't shared this plan with him yet! He will be THRILLED!!
Ok, maybe it has dried out enough for mowing. I can only hope!
