It's not Disney World, but it's close...

Well, we can't afford Disney World...
There are many other things topping our priority list right now...
New House
New Car
New Camera
New Diamond Earings...(since I currently only have one, and the other is MIA...don't tell Matt yet!!)

But we do have the Mouse House!!!
The closest thing in Illinois to Disney World...as far as I can tell.

So where better to take a fellow Mouse Fanatic...AKA Kalee...

She was in Mousy Heaven.
It may have been the cutest thing ever.
"Look Mommy!!  Mousy!!"
"Come over here...you have to see this!!"
"Mommy, there is Mousy EVERYWHERE!!"
She was so happy.
And really, is there anything better than getting to swim in a pool that has Mickey Mouse painted on the bottom?
Really?
Anything?
OK, maybe there are better things, but imagine you are Kalee and you're 3...
I asked her what her favorite Mousy was that she saw today...trust me, she saw a lot!
She told me it was the big black one in the pool!

OK, so maybe the better thing was actually going into the Mouse House and getting to see the collection of all collections.
Yes, those are all Mickey's.
Yes, the house is full of them!!
Yes, Kalee was in awe!!
(No, she didn't touch anything..."We look with our eyes, not our hands!"  I'm sure some of those Mousy's are worth way more than I care to know!)
She just kept walking around the rooms.
Even the bathroom is Mousy.
She has never been more excited to wash her hands than she was today.
She got to get her soap out of Mickey's shoe.
(this, apparently, is a BIG DEAL when you are Kalee!)

It was one of the moments that made me very happy.
Because she was so happy.
Something so simple.
And she was in love.

    Pop's cousin, Carol...Guess that makes her my cousin too, but she's always felt more like an Aunt. In Springfield.

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. I took some drugs and have been laying on a heating pad, so it is feeling a little better. I need to run, but just don't know if that will happen tonight. This puts a cramp in my training! Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! There may be a problem though...I think it is at the same time that DWTS is going to be on. Speaking of DWTS...di...

Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
