Random Wednesday

I have been VERY busy trying to get ready to leave town for 10 days...
So I am going to do a catch-all randomness here.

Some more pictures from the Mouse House.
Lily is a little water bug.
She was cracking me up.
I guess she likes the taste of salt water, cuz her tongue was out the whole time.
She just floated around the pool happily all day.
When she wanted to get somewhere she just kicked her little legs and was off.
I think she might like the water.
I think...
Ava has the cutest swim suit.
She wanted a yellow one and Nan found this one.
I love the TUTU!
Also...FYI...these life vest things are THE GREATEST!
They are simply amazing for the kids.
They don't let them fall forwards into the water.
Seriously, if you are looking for something for swimming, get one!!
Peyton just relaxing.
She was jumping in the pool all by herself by the time we left.
OH...she also swam to me in the shallow end all by herself!!!
No life vest.
No touching (cuz she couldn't!)!!
I'm so proud of her!!!

While I was "swimming" at the Mouse House, (I say "swimming" because really I was treading water most of the time while kids threw themselves at me from the edge.)
I LOST ONE OF MY DIAMOND EARRINGS!!
NOOOOOO!!!!
I told Matt...
He told me (in typical Matt fashion), "this is why I don't buy you more nice jewelry."
A few minutes later I suggested going to the firehouse and getting his SCUBA gear so we could look for my earring.
He agreed.
He really is a pretty amazing husband.
So we got his stuff, loaded up, and went back to the pool.
He got ready...
Went in, and came back up about 30 seconds later.
M:  "I need a screwdriver."
S:  "You found it?!!!"
M:  "Of course I did.  Jeez."
So I found him a screwdriver and he went to work.
It was down in the drain.
I am SO HAPPY he found it!
Then he suggested I super glue the back to my ear.
After he was done, he showed Kate and I how to SCUBA!
I don't think Kate liked it too much.
But she looks professional!
I loved it!
Tara, Tyler and I have been talking about taking a class.
Now I can't wait to do it!
It's really neat, and I was just in a pool.
I think Matt is pretty excited that I liked it.
Maybe now he won't complain so much the next time I suggest a tropical beach vacation.
We can SCUBA together!
In other news...
Peyton went to the eye doctor yesterday.  Her vision has remained the same.  With her eye still turning in and farsightedness.  She got a new prescription for new glasses.  But the doctor said that her left eye is exactly the same and the right has only changed minimally.  So really, there is no hurry to get them.  We will get them before she starts school.  She did great at the doctor.  Hopped right up into the chair and "played" all the games with the nurses and doctor.  She was AMAZING when they did the dilation eye drops.  She didn't cry at all.  She is getting so grown up!  We met Grandma and Kalee at McDonald's after for lunch.  Who knows if she could see anything at all...her eyes were saucers from being dilated!

I have been crafting.  Getting ready for the Katie and Jeromy Redneck Wedding Bash.  You will have to wait to see the finished product.  Think Camo and Beer.  It will be so fun!  The girls will be so inappropriately dressed.  Hilarious!

OK, long enough post to catch up?
I think so.
I have to get off here and get things done today.
Bank, packing, laundry, clean house, pick up the girls...and on and on...
