Another first today!

We had another first today...
Peyton and Adam rode the bus!
They were SO EXCITED!!
They got out of school at 2:00 and I expected them to be the first ones off the bus.
Not so.
I waited outside for 50 minutes.
2:50 rolled around, and finally the bus came from the opposite direction.
What a crock!
If they were to ride (which they will sometime), they would be the first to be picked up.
Then when it drops them off, they are last!
Good thing they like it and think its an adventure!
I gave the bus driver treats.
Maybe he will remember that we are nice and take extra special care of them!
At least that's my hope!
She had another great day at school.
She got to take the class lunch money to Nan's office.  Guess she went in and Mom was talking to someone, so she put the envelope on her desk and said "Here Grandma!" then turned and walked away with her classmate.  She got to have Mrs. Clarke for PE!!  Yay!  She said she also went to Music class.  They had recess (one of she and Adam's favorite parts of the day) and ate lunch in the cafeteria.  Adam told me he was "NEVER EVER bringing his lunch!  He wants to eat in the cafeteria all the time!"  Peyton was excited to scan her lunch card.
They were going a mile a minute when they got home.  Both had all sorts of stories and were just jabbering away!
I'm so glad they are enjoying it.
I am still sad though.
I had another cry this morning when she drove off with Nan to go to school.
Where did the time go?
She's supposed to be little still.
I told Kate that I need to adjust to this new schedule.  I caught myself all day starting to yell for her and see what she was doing.  But she's not here!  I am not sure what I will do when Kalee goes in a few weeks!

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! There may be a problem though...I think it is at the same time that DWTS is going to be on. Speaking of DWTS...di...

Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
