On the Move

Well, we did it.
We moved in 3 days.
House sold...Thursday.
First loads of stuff taken to Pawnee...Friday.
Shelly packed an entire house...Saturday.
We moved an entire house...Sunday.
Time for resting?...maybe in a week or two.

I am back in the Burg today to do some cleaning and let in a Pest Inspection Guy.
There are still a few odds and ends here.
Matt is living here until we close Friday.
If living means sleeping in Kalee's twin bed and only having a recliner as furniture.
I brought him some silverware today.
He called last night and said he didn't even have a knife to spread peanut butter on his sandwich for lunch.
Oops...

It feels so good to be moving on.
I am so happy to be in Pawnee.
Coming home has a whole new meaning for me!

Signing Peyton up for school (again) in Pawnee tonight!
We went school supply shopping yesterday...I promised her we would.
She's excited!
We know who her teacher will be.
I'm excited!

Mom and Dad's Internet is not currently working...part of the move furniture around so your daughter, son in law and two granddaughters can move in process. 
Hopefully it will be up soon and I will be able to post more updates!

    P.S. I can't believe my "innovative" son could not "concoct" something to use for his peanut butter! I'm sure he probably did, but just wanted your sympathy :)

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! There may be a problem though...I think it is at the same time that DWTS is going to be on. Speaking of DWTS...di...

Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
