Random notes

I'm freezing today!
I can't get warm and my nose keeps running.
I've had my sweater on all day.
Mandy even has the heat on in her house!
This must be some weird pregnancy thing since I am usually HOT all the time!

I started Christmas shopping.
Oh, how I love online shopping.
Comparing prices without going to 40 different stores!
Not having helpers suggesting things to buy!
Not fighting the crowds and annoying people that this prego has NO patience for at this point in her life!
Sipping my water as I sit here in my socks.
Matt and I have decided it will be a lean Christmas this year.
I am trying to not buy a bunch of toys, which they don't need, because they have plenty...
Which we don't have space for in our current living situation...
Which I will then have to move in 4 months...
I have a few ideas for things I think they will truly enjoy and am going with those.
I'm actually half done after just an hour on the computer this morning!
Yippee!!
(If only I were more like Denny...I think he's been done Christmas shopping since about June...)

Kalee and I went to a Discovery Toys party that the Pre-K teachers hosted last night.
She had a lot of fun playing with all the toys and being around her friends.
Even though I don't think she talked to anyone!
I ordered her a game thing, Zingo!, that I have read about on another blog.
We played it with Ava and Mandy at the party, and she seemed to enjoy it.

I went to a lia sophia party at Kristi's Friday night.
I ordered this ring...
And CAN NOT wait to get it!
I think it is super fun!
Mandy ordered a really cute ring too.
I think we can work out some kind of sharing schedule...
I also got a necklace and some earnings...Cute stuff!!

Guess I am quite the party girl these days.
HA!

Matt is working on the house today.
His third job...
Trying hard to get the roof on.
Sheeting a roof is time consuming.
Guess I'm thankful we went with few roof line changes!
I know he is thankful for it!
Wish this rain would hold off one more week...Just one!!

I Hurt

I hurt my back. It hurts bad. I can hardly nod my head without it hurting. I don't know what happened. But it hurts in case you didn't get that. I took some drugs and have been laying on a heating pad, so it is feeling a little better. I need to run, but just don't know if that will happen tonight. This puts a cramp in my training! Day 2

Day 2 went just as well as day 1 of Preschool. It seems too good to be true! Oh well, I'll take it! Peyton went right in and did her "jobs" (putting away her bag, folder and picking her drink). Then she went to play with a puzzle and read a book. No tears, no clinging, AWESOME!! Kalee was upset again that she didn't get to stay. She kept saying I want to play with the tractor puzzle at school. So she and I spent the morning playing outside. It's so funny how happy she is once we get home. I think she loves not having the competition for the toys or the bossiness that is Peyton telling her how to play! She had every baby out and every stroller with them. Plus, her tricycle, 4 wheeler, shopping cart, firetruck... I have a new TV obsession...Melrose Place. Sad, but true. I watched it last night and am hooked. Can't wait for next week! There may be a problem though...I think it is at the same time that DWTS is going to be on. Speaking of DWTS...di...

Sunny Monday

We had a fun day today. After Peyton got upset that Daddy and Pop were going to the ball park without her...it was a boys day...we decided to have a girls day. She told me that on girls days, you read stories and sing songs. Well, we haven't done any of those things yet, but we did swim a little in the freezing cold big pool. Then the girls swam in their little pool. They both brought their babies to the pools, so they had fun. I put the solar cover on the pool as soon as I got them out of it!! It's amazing that they don't ever think the water is cold! Peyton sliding with her baby Kalee "swimming." She sat in this little bucket for about 10 minutes! We had lunch and the girls napped. Then we went to the mall play place. I gave them the option of the playground and feeding the ducks or the play place. Peyton wanted the play place. Really, I think they have more fun playing on the little cars that move when you put money in them. They don't even need them to...
